Earlier today, I received a call from a woman with an Indian accent who claimed she was calling from Allstate. I never provided consent or opted in for any TCPA disclosure related to Allstate. When I asked how they obtained my information, the caller hung up immediately. I attempted to call the number back, but it was disconnected. This is concerning because there must be a working callback number or another method for consumers to request placement on the company’s internal Do Not Call (DNC) list, as required under the TCPA and FTC Telemarketing Sales Rule.
