Leave a CommentCalled and asked for my husband's auto protection application on a Toyota Highlander, saying they haven't received his application yet. The caller didn't know how to respond, so I ***g up, annoyed. They tried to verify the address, but there are 2 problems: 1., My husband died 7 yrs. ago. 2., He (or I),NEVER owned any Toyota. He wouldn't have. He was a GM man who worked for a GM supplier! When I called back, it rang several times, then switched to what sounded like a fax ma****e. Who ARE these *****s, anyway???
Called and asked for my husband by first name. Told them he wasn't home and could I take a message....they ***g up on me! Tried calling back to tell them about their bad manners but phone was not answered. Very irritating!
Got a call and they had questions about our 2006 Camry and info about the warranty. We don't have and never had any Camry. When I told him that we never had a Camry, he sounded as if either I was lying or there was some random Camry we owned that I didn't know about.
Missed the call. When I called back the number went to a fax line - appears to be a calling scam for car warranties.
dealer services
Spammer. I emailed Hyundai the day prior concerning warranty work needed on my Santa Fe. The dealer called me within 12 hours and this "extended warranty" outfit within 20 hours. I don't know if Hyundai sent them my info but I suspect the dealer in Erie PA did. I have a complete distrust of all car dealers.
Identified themselves as Dealer Services - ask to speak to me by name about a car make and model that I have never owned. When I said I did not have that car they ***g up.
Caller attempting to get me to buy extended warranty on a vehicle I no longer own.
