Wanted $475 or half and half. Even guided me through the CSLB website and gave me a “confirmation number” for my “mailed” license. I gave my card information but after coming here I canceled the card before they charged me.

Regarding contractors license being active today.

Paula Goldsmith called and said that our contractor's license number was posted TODAY ****rue, we've had it for years and it won't expire for years) and said the contractor must call back immediately regarding it.

Paula called saying she was the Bbb I fell for it and gave her my credit card number then had a weird feeling about it and called the real bbb to ask if the number I was called from was indeed them which I was informed it was not. Had to cancel my card. Beware of this scammer.

Just repeated their name when I asked what this was regarding. Said it was about "the business" but nothing negative, and that I needed to get the named person on the business license to call them back

Paula called and tried scamming me out of $499. Told me I need to pay a fee to get my license

Said they used to be BBB but now BCA, but the BBB still is around. This caller is scamming I confirmed with the BBB that this number is not****ociated with them anymore.

Scam

Someone called me saying she is from BBB also. Told me I could pull permit and need to be member with the Better Business Bureau but I told this person I will come personally to there office and pay from there and will wait for my license to come. They asked for me to pay $475 or half and half. I said I don't pay online. I will go to there office so not even a penny they will get from me.

They call saying they were the BBB and they are going to register my company for a fee.
