Leave a CommentI just recieved a call from 1-562-223-8838. They were asking for my husband and I replied he wasn't home could I take a message. They wouldn't give me any information but told me it was in regards to his visa ending in ****. I don't know if it was the right information. I asked for a number and told them I would have my husband give them a call when he returned. They then told me that I was his wife, they had my name, and that I could answer the questions. I told them that I wasn't on any of his cards so I could not answer any questions but that, a***n, if they leave a number, I would have my husband call. The lady then ***g up on me. Do not give out any information! I called the number back and it gave me an anwsering ma****e saying that if I no longer wished to recieve calls from them, their reward system, to press one to be removed from the list. I don't know who they are but don't trust anyone these days unless they can give me a phone number and I call them back, get someone different and it is infact from my bank or credit card company!
A call came from this number stating that they were from my Visa card but they wouldn't tell me the name of the company other than Visa Card Corp. They said that they needed to speak to me regarding my Visa Card ending in **** (they had the right info). I disconnected the call because it's not my credit card company. I spoke to someone else who received the same call and he stated that they asked for his 3 digit pin number on the back of the credit card. Do NOT give this info out unless you inniciate the call.
