Leave a CommentI keep receiving calls from the same lady who says she has never talked to me. She wants to send me a free gift and just needs to "verify" my credit card info. She has called twice last week, 3 times yes****ay and once so far today. The woman said her name was Angela Smith, but she has an Indian accent. she also said her company name was Global Marketing Rewards which can not be found on the internet. Definately a phishing scam, and I'm betting Amazon sold my card info to them.
Twice these people have called and not left a message. Both times my caller id said "Happy Cash". Did an internet search, but the web site that came up with that name is in French and I don't read French. Don't know what they want, but after reading this listing, I'm just going to let ol Happy Cash listen to my very boring English voice mail message!
These people keep calling me and telling me they are sending me a free gift card that costs $2.00 for shipping, I have told them if it was a gift, why am I paying for shipping and to take me off there list. They have called me literally 7 times in the last 2 hours, and none stop now for 3 days! and I've even called and pressed #1 like 5 times and they keep calling.....isn't that harassment? Enough is enough!!!!!!
***ody on phone at first... I used to work telemarketing and know sometimes it takes up to 30 seconds for auto dialers to put the rep. on line so I waited for a rep. Finally someone came on and asked for me. I said I wasn't here and to take a message. He said he was calling about my MasterCard ending in some numbers... I don't have a MasterCard.Obviously some sort of scam.
Repeated calls with no one on the phone. Try to return the call and it is a recording of someone (no business name given) that indicates I should press 1 if I do not want to receive the calls. Looks like a phishing scam !!!!
