Leave a CommentMy roommate answered the phone when I was out and they asked for me, stating that they were calling in regards to my involvement in a couple non-profit organizations... If the do-not-call list doesn't work for them, I'll just have to inform them that I have been commited due to some recent charges and am unable to make such decisions on my own, but they can call to talk anytime- perhaps get together for coffee, lol! Perhaps that will stop the phone calls.
they keep calling and no one is there. they leave no message and i wont answer the phone anymore. if i dont know the number i wont pick up.no call list will not work on these calls.
I get calls from 562-288-7147 from 8am to 10:30 pm (Central time) up to 10 times a day. What they want is an audio confirmation that you have authorized them to charge your credit card. It may just sound like you are agreeing to receive free whatever coupons (she actually accused me of not liking free gas!) but as soon as you confirm that you are the person they have on file and that your credit card and address are correct you've actually just agreed to let them charge your card.Register with https://www.donotcall.gov/register/reg.aspx and after 31 days you can report them using the telephone number (without knowing the company name). This isn't the most gratifying answer because you have to wait and then the company will just pop up a***n with a new name and number after they get caught. If you want to be one of the many Americans who are figuring out they can make a profit from suing these SCAM companies, get the company name when they call and record every time they call (even the missed calls). Talk to a lawyer about a suit for harassment and phishing scams. Maybe if enough people s**** suing we can make a statement that this scam is not how they should do business.
If they are truly calling to raise funds for a political cause, you guys are out of luck - those types of callers are EXEMPT from the Do Not Call list.HOWEVER... if they are calling your cell phone, they are breaking the law - it is illegal to use an auto dialer to call cell phones. This, they clearly do.
I want these telemarketers to stop calling me over five times each day. I am 89 years old and am telling my great-grandson what to say on his computer. These Share Group folks are probably very nice. But, they are not doing me fair. I hope they stop. I also hope they ROT IN*****!!!! Thank you.
Keeps calling cell phone repeatedly. No one leaves a voice mail. Very irritating. We are on the Do Not Call.
Please file a complaint at: https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspxI have also forwarded information to the FBI as these guys are clearly executing a phishing scam.
562-223-8844 has called and left no message. When answered, they don't say anything = just **** up. This is annoying. Leave a message please if you want so****ing, otherwise don't call back.
Share group keeps calling looking for money, i have never given money to them before or will. i am 85 years old , i need to be left alone
Several times a day I get a call from this number. When I answer, no one is there immediately, so I **** up. My caller ID reads "SHARE GROUP INC".I no longer answer if I notice the ID
Caller ID indicated only that it was a "cellular call." I didn't pick up; ***ody left a message.
I would like to appeal to any government agency to help stopping those people from calling me.
They're smart and can get around legal loopholes (or just don't care and focused on getting their JOB done)...my call director only showed the words "cellular phone" with the number 562-223-8844. Who calls someone late Friday evenings or early Sa****ay mornings? Overtime to get bonus money? That's being greedy! AND annoying!
Here's contact information submitted by Dewis McCarthy, CEO of Share Group, the company that tele-raises funds for non-profits. Give ole Dewis a call & tell him how you feel. . . . I did. 99 Dover Street Somerville, MA 02144 Telephone****.629.4500 Facsimile:617.629.4510
These people are under-the-skin obnoxious. They call an average of 3-4 times a day from early am to late pm. How dare them invade my home with their persistent calls! I've even picked up the phone and ***g up on them, only for them to call back immediately. I'm going to threaten them with legal action, as I did another company, who stopped calling immediately. Also, I'm seriously thinking of investing some time in looking into how to get a law passed to prohibit telemarketing. Enough is enough! If someone wants your type of product or service, THEY'LL find YOU. And if you repeatedly get no answer, GET the MESSAGE and STOP CALLING!
Funny how they keep calling regardless of the fact that I've never picked up. They've tried getting sneaky lately calling from a bunch of different numbers, all in California. My solution has been to create a special silent ringtone and****ign it to each number as they come in. I now hear nothing but a little beep indicating a missed call every now and then, which is nowhere near as obnoxious as a full ****n ring several times a day just for bogus calls.
When I wasn't as receptive as they liked they said "have a nice day" and ***g up. These people need to be buried. How do we stop them?
Caller id listed Share Group Inc. They're a fundraising telemarketer. Here's the website.http://www.sharegroup.com/index.shtml
Telemarkerters who would not give me intent of their call and women was havinga second conversation with a co-worker about what thye were doing later...we have asked numerous times for this number to stop calling to no avail! So annoying!!!!I guess the "do not call list" is not working on this one?
Talked to someone claiming to be from the Obama campaign. They had my name, phone number, address and email address. It sounded like a call center with voices in the background. I'm not convinced it really was Obama. They wouldn't say what the intent of the call was, instead just wanting to "verify my information". When I told them to "take me off the list", they claimed they needed to verify my information to take me off the list.
