I have received calls from this number and a few others they use.  They have actually said they re with the US Attoneries office and I could go to jail.  Today they called and I asked them "are you the US Attorneies office/"  When he said yes, I had the US Atornies number at hand, so I asked him to hold while I got the person he needed.  I conferenced called the call to the US Attornies office.  Luckly the Director of Security for the US Attornies office answered.  With the person on the line, I explained to the US Attornies office that the caller had indicated he was also with the US Attornies office and was threatening to throw me in jail if I didn't pay the debt they said I owed (which I do not owe).  The caller would not give the US Atornies office the company name he was working for, an address or any identifiable information.  When the US Attornies offices demanded they identify themselves as they were now going to persue them for saying they were an employee of the US Attorneies office, they ***g up.  THIS IS A SCAM!!!   If they call you - just become demanding of information from them - don't back down and don't give them any information about yourself....  One time before when they called I called them every foul slanderous name (****stani type) I could think of, until thy ***g up...

Received a call for an employee who evidently owes money in California.  Said from Federal Law Firm.  Asked for his company name after telling him not to call our number and he said American legal Services phone # 626-768-2916.  how do you stop all of these calls.  Every call is from different number and they give a different company name.

This is the fourth or fifth time these people have called within the past year, but it's always under a different number though.This time they called under this number and I didn't answer. A woman left me a message saying to have my attorney call her immediately and if I don't then all she can do is "wish me luck" because it will unfold on me. It's the same message every time. How do you report this to the authorities? Thanks so much.

they call me every other day. these scammers threaten my job also... saying ill be arrested and put in jail. always the same two east indian people... man goes by mike robinson (haha) and the lady by kim. i called my local fbi office and made a report... the lady i talked to said if more people report this group the better chance so****ing could be done.

i got several messages from this company saying that i need to call them becuase its a time sensative matter and that either me or my lawyer off record needs to contact them. They threatened me saying that they will send all the legal do***ents to my employer and have a warrent sent out for my arrest if i didnt pay them 1300 dollars by this afternoon. who are these people? is there anything we can do?

I recieved a voicemail message and the person name is Anna Marshall from the American Legal Affairs. I decided to call back, they told me to have my attorney call them and we will get to the bottom of the problem. They mention all my information and as well as my Social Security......especially my so called bank account. Their crazy and don't know what their putting themselves into.....I don't how and what we or I can do to stop this madness.....

The are a scam. Let them know you know where they are at in seal beach,CA (Orange County) and that you will be bring suit a***nst them for harassment.

They keep calling me about a matter in which I did have to do with but I would like to take care of that matter with the people whom I actually owe... Why would I pay Indians money that I owe an American Company. The company that  I owe says they have no idea how these Indians got my information. They are also calling my references and harrassing them. He says his name is David Smith. He yelled into my Cell phone and my home phone. He kept saying OH GOD everytime I would ask a question. Apparently David is a Lawyer... yeah right....

Received the same message.  I think the people calling from this phone number are affiliated with the same disturbing & threatening calls we've gotten from 760-724-7600 - The caller always has an either Indian or Vietnamese accent.  Can hardly understand them - And the message always has to do with having our attorney call them OR ELSE.  They never ever mention what company they are calling from - and the most disturbing thing is that they have our full names - and although they have a thick accent, they always leave an American first & last name (like Paul Jones).

i got a phone call from these ppl yes****ay that said they were from american legal services. I spoke with 3 ppl that had strong accents and they were representing  a company i owe money to and if i dont pay they will be filing 3 cases a***nst me.

They have been calling me about a friend's credit issues, saying that I'm involved in it. The call is from American Legal Services, but there is a scam about this place on the internet. Don't call the number back I received a directory charge on my cell phone when I called it.
