Glen Buerman has called me at home and at work. He has made several threats about sending a summons to my work and get me fired. He refuses to tell me what the matter is regarding. Beware of this number and this guy. He is trying to steal your iden***y and get money from you on so****ing you may not even owe. He is a huge a**hole and very rude. Just **** up on him and report him to the Police.

I think he's more of a scammer than a "debt collector". He's trying to shake me down for money for an Account that is "Paid, Closed & Never Late" as of 2001 on my credit report. He has never sent me anything in writing. He uses "scare" tactics (I'm not scared) saying he is sending "papers" to my employer's H.R. Dept. When I told him I would need time to check this out, he said to call him back. Well, I did! I told him I did not owe this "debt" since it is not a debt, been paid off (not written off). He then says, he will go ahead and do what he has to do. I said, "Go ahead." It then reported him to the FTC, the Iowa Attorney General - who advised me to file a complaint with the California Attorney General since they discovered that his phone number is OWNED by a company in San Diego. So, I did that too. Do not believe anything he says. Keep doing your research, and report him to the FTC (Federal Trade Commission). Use Google to get to these websites; you can fill out a form online. Good luck! Let's get him.

I just want to give other people a heads-up in case you don't have the time to keep resear****g this number... It is in the Northeast corner of the state of Iowa!  When he called my landlord in August, he was calling from a number in San Diego!! Must be a freelance traveling bill collector!

Same number, same M.O. says he is investigating fraud. Has tons of personal information including SSN's. Only he told one brother his name was glen burman and told me his name was Tom Lewis. I still have the voicemail to prove it. He was very rude and intrusive, trying to use scare tatics to get info from me. When I asked if he was trying to 'scare me into labor', (I am 37 weeks pregnant) he ***g up on me.

He called my family..telling my kids their personal information and all of mine. He is a scam artist.

Called several of my family members.

Claims that he is working for the US Marshals office. He had lots of personal information. He has contacted several family members. I've called the US Marshall office and have told that they do not do this sort of thing. Glen Burman got very angry when I told him I was checking up on him.
