I get calls from this number also but when I try to call it back its says "your number can not be completed as dialed.. never leaves a message...

who is this  some what  why do they call buy they do not Leve no *****ges  are they one of those how does scams, 570-606-2100  how are  please tell us

This number is The Red Cross calling to ask you to give blood. They call every month and it is annoying.

The 570 area code is in Pennsylvania

I got a call from this number on my cell I didn't answer it and when I tried to call it back I got a recording saying the number or code you have entered is invalid pleas check the number or code and try your call a***n If that wasnt bad enough they called at 8:30 at night since when the heck does red cross work that late at night.

I donate all the time and the Red Cross does call me to notify me of blood drives in my area but they have always called from a number in my area code and city prefix before.  Also they leave messages and they DO NOT call every night at the same time.  You can say it's the Red Cross all you want but in my opinion, as someone that is a frequent donor and has had the calls about drives multiple times, there is so****ing odd about this number and these calls.  I wouldn't give out any information to anyone from this number even if you think it's to remove you from the call list.  Of course they are nice about it, it's probably what they want.  The Red Cross works through volunteers so if they are calling you about a blood drive it will be from a number that looks familar to you, I don't even know where 570 area code is!!

I find YOU harassing. Just because I give blood, it still does not mean I need to get phone calls from the red cross three times a day about their upcoming blood drive - plus get flyers in the mail about it and multiple notices in my EMAIL. I like it especially when they call me repeatedly about a blood drive, after I already made an appointment, then when I take an hour off of work, I have to wait sometimes two hours before I am called to donate at the center, frustrating on top of that. This disturbs my sense of calm, as do you. Get real yourself. Just because we can do so****ing nice doesn't mean we need to be dis-respected by you or the RED CROSS.

Calls several times and doesn't leave message or doesn't speak when I answer. I called number back and it is not a working number.

I don't think it's harassment at all. They need more people to donate and SAVE LIVES! They are trying to let you know there is a drive in your area. If more people would take time out of their "busy lives" (or care more about others) and donate on their own, maybe they wouldn't have to call. Most people only donate once and feel they've done their good deed for a lifetime. Get real!

No, they don't take your name off the list.  I asked them the last time I talked to them and they said they would but they continue to call.

All you have to do is ask them to take you off the call list and they will. In case you aren't aware, there aren't enough donors, so they try to call those of us who do donate, to make them aware of blood drives in your area!     :-)

I called the American Red Cross and they where happy to take my name off of their calling list.  Giving blood saves lives, but I, like some of you, do not wish for a call from them.  I will post if they call after I have requested to be removed.

received 2 calls from this number today. i think its because if a push for the sept 11th blood drive they're having in the Scrantom/mt poc area

This number is from the Red Cross. I did have ONE person leave a message from that number. If you've ever given blood that's how they got your telephone number in their database. It's just annoying that trying to do "a good thing" becomes a nightmare of constant harrassment afterwards. I had alot of trouble during the ONE time I gave blood, so if you decide to donate be sure you ask for a SENIOR tech who knows what they are doing. The tech I got messed up so it was a major pain to complete the process for me, and I had a tennis ball sized bruise on my arm for a week afterwards. Kinda put me off donating a***n.

I also just got the same call.  I didn't answer in time, but when I called back, what you heard was a steady beep beep, as though the line was disconnected.  And this was on a cell phone, not a land line.

I have been getting calls from this number frequently.  When I answer, they **** up.  When I call back, no answer, no voicemail, no nothing.  If it is from the American Red Cross (which I read on here) then why is there not atleast an answering ma****e?

I recieve these calls nightly and when answer they **** up I did callit back and all it does is ring there is no answering ma****e no voice mail I did a search and it comes up as a residential phone or lindline but no other info
