regarding a rare guitar on reverb.com He said he wanted to pay “by cashier” then after I clarified he said “yes the check will be mail to you via usps mail after you receive it and cash it at your bank then you can ship” Spelling mistakes and a quick Google search of cashier check scams and his number is now blocked

Wanted me to text him about an item I am selling on Reverb. Noticed two others spelled his name Schawz. This was Schwaz - maybe a typo, but two???

Sent me a really legit looking “certified check” from Navy Federal Credit Union for a guitar listing on Reverb. Called NFCU, check was fraudulent.

This guy literally tried to buy the same guitar from me a***n on Reverb and didn’t even realize I was the same seller he’d tried to scam three days ago! He’s literally blanket bidding every similar instrument! Needless to say Reverb is investigating him.
