Leave a Comment'VIKRAM CHOURASIYA'Really, i'm fighting for my refund. Need your help how to communicate with this person, who call me with this caller ID. i did call back, phone no. not ringing , comcast do not know who this number belong to.
This number is legitimate. It had seemed fishy when I got a call from someone with a very heavy accent asking if I was the holder of an American Express with the last four digits **** calling to say that there had been su****ious activity on my card. I asked for a way to call them back. I ***g up and called AmEx who did show a pending charge for United Airlines as well as several fraudulent tickets on Delta the day before. I called United back and told them to cancel the reservation and report it to authorities.
i got a call from this number as well. he said his name was yardley. he spoke to me for long but a***n had a heavy indian accent and could not follow most of what i was trying to convey. he told me there was a charge on my card and he thinks it was fraud. i keep making reservations for my employees and he said he wanted to b sure there is no fraud so he used to call me everyday to take the ticket numbers of the bookings i made for the day. he said if i would answer his call n give him the ticket numbers everyday he would let the passengers travel without any problem and stopping at the airport. why would united hire people like this who scare their customers? i stopped booking united after 22 days of trouble i got from yardley. he was very rude and demanding and no airline gives their customers such awful service

This is not a Hoax... Verified at United Airlines Website (link below).http://faq.ua2go.com/al/12/1/article.aspx?bt= ... S&fromhistory=1Q) I just received a call from someone claiming to be a United Airlines Credit Card Fraud Investigator. Is this legitimate?A) The call you received may have been legitimate. When a United Airlines ticket purchase has been identified as su****ious, a United Airlines Credit Card Fraud Investigator may call the credit card holder to verify the validity of the ticket purchase. This call will come from the phone number 571-258-4611. (Please note that this number cannot receive inbound calls.)
I also received a call from this number (it actually originated from 571-258-4414 - but then they asked me to call back at 571-258-4611)Claimed to be United credit card fraud department - but when I called back, I just got a generic voicemail box.I called United Reservations to ask about this - and they guy had no idea what I was talking about. I had purchased tickets a week earlier and everything was ok. Nothing in the record needed attention. This all smells really fishy. Even if it's an outsourced agency - the systems should be connected. Otherwise I'm just supposed to trust some random Indian guy that calls and wants me to "repeat back" all of my credit card information? Also - the call came in around 7am Pacific time on a Monday - which made me even more su****ious.

So far I haven't seen any fraudlent charges on my credit cards, but I'm wat****g closely.

Call from "United Airlines" fraud department. They wanted to verify information about a credit card transaction. We are a credit union and we refused to confirm the information without our member on the line. Later we were able to contact our member who indicated that they were not trying to make an airline ticket purchase. Thanks for this web site-you help prevent a fraud! We have reported this under the Federal SAR program-but don't know if that will really do anything.Note: United Airline claims they don't have a fraud department-just a regular refunds department that can be reached at 888-551-6881 x210.
I received three phone calls from this number. each caller had a heavy Indian accent. they said they were from the United Airlines credit card fraud dept. and that there had been four tickets charged with my visa. they had the last four digits of the card and my unlisted phone number but butchered my name. when I would call back I would always get an answering ma****e. I checked all my visa balances and there was a fraudulent charge to an airline for over 800 dollars so I had the card cancelled, but when I called United Airlines directly they say they do not have a fraud department. Hmmmm.
