Received call on Google Voice: 1/8/10 11:45 AM. Blocked them today.

5739988989 call on cell phone was in spanish and I ***g up. this isn't the first time

I'm on the do not call registry via the ftc . gov site as of 10/2009. I don't answer ANY unknown calls and I was told to NEVER call them back either. If you answer or call ANY of these conartists and telemarketer losers back they WILL call back even more. JUST DONT ANSWER and ALWAYS REGISTER YOUR NUMBERS on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY and file complaints if ANY companies you have no affiliation with call you after 30-45 days of you registering on the Do Not Call Registry. I filed a complaint with the ftc. these lowlife s*******s called us at 7:30pm on 1/22/2010

Received a phone call from 573-998-8989 on land line and my cell, about the same time. It was a pre-recorded phone call in Spanish. Tried reverse phone search but, of course, no such business or other information was given.

Got a recorded message in spanish on my cell phone.

I also got a call to my Los Angeles , CA #.  They did not leave a message.  I tried calling back but the phone is not in service....

Rejected call since it was from an unknown number. No msg left. Have NO idea how my cell # was obtained. I've only had this new cell # for about two months and have only given it to family! Go figure!!

Read a lot of complaints about this number online , so watch out ***ps. Also,I remember reading a particular article about some distance calls scamming people a fortune. I guess we need to be extra-alert.

F**king mexican keeps calling and leaving message in mex talk I say send then all back

Caller keeps calling - usually doesn't leave a vmail. If there is a vmail, it's in spanish and only a partial message. I delete the message and have stopped picking up calls that I don't recognize. It is very annoying to be spammed on my cell - email was bad enough, now cell phones? Give me a break.

The have called several times on my cell however no ones on the other end? getting annoying

Just received a call from this number that told me (in spanish) to press one to receive my money. I touched nothing and it went to a busy signal. There was a lot of background noise before the message played. They called at 9:56am on Jan 7, 2010. When I called the number back it says it is not in service.

To the posters above, Visa, Discover, etc. a lot of the times s**** with the same 4 numbers.  It's the rest of the numbers that make them unique.  Just because they have the first 4 doesn't mean they have the rest.  Look at a friend's visa credit card and your visa credit card (debit, prepaid, etc. have different numbers for the first 4 I think).  I also just got a call from this number, wondering why they're calling.  I don't have a credit card, and if I did, no one's getting my number!

I received a call from 573-998-8989 on Dec. 28, 2009. Carmen, what card did he have the numbers for? Was it a Chase Visa or Sears Mastercard? These are the only ones I have and am wondering if this person is somehow connected with them. Did he ever run your card?

I received a call today 1/5/10 from this number from a person who identified himself as Sebastian with Visa/Mastercard saying I won $1000.  He had the first 4 digits of my credit card and wanted me to verify the remaining numbers.  He called me ridiculous when I asked him to do so and when I refused to give him the numbers he said he was going to run my credit card so I better cancel it, he called me an obscene name and ***g up.

Received a call from my number on my cell phone. Do not pick up any phone #'s I do not know. Have no business nor any contacts in Missouri which is also nowhere near where I live. My cell company tells me I canno block spcific #'s. Why not? I am certain the technology is there. Yet they get to call on my dime. Don Not Call is evedently toothless.

this call originates from Williamsville, MO. I recieved what sounded like a ma****e recording in spanish asking me to press a number on my keypad, of course i declined and ***g up immediatly. sounds like a phishing scam.
