My husband rcvd this text too. We did not do anything as it sounds like a scam. After reading this, it confirmed we we're not going to call the odd number.

received a text on a Sunday telling me to call Bank of America. I don't have an account with Bank America...did not call, deleted text

I received a text from this number saying I had a security issue on my debit card. I called my bank directly and they told me it was a scam. BEWARE!!!

I just received a text from: [email protected]. The text read: "(contact-bankofamerica) Call 5753767497" So obviously not legit, I called the number for laughs, Recorded voice caller told me my debit card from Bank of America was suspended due to security issue and asked me to give number of debit card to re activate it. I laughed and said "nice try, get a real job" and ***g up.I spoke with Verizon and they said to send a screen**** of the message to 7726

Fishing trip. Sent test claiming to be Bank of America. Com****r claimed debit card was restricted due to possible fraud. Asked for card #, security code, Susan, etc. Contacted real BofA, was told no restrictions on card. Reported phone # to fraud dept.

My mom received a text from them. She was su****ious and called BOA. Even they said it was a scam.

I received a text (contact-bankofamerica) Call 5753767497. I did not call. I looked up the number on this site and read the comments. I deleted the text.

Got a txt. Claimed to be from B of A .

Both my husband and I received a text message from [email protected] with the message "Call 5753767497". We both called and got the same message that their was illegal activity on our Bank of America card and than it asked for us to enter our card number. We do not have of Bank of America account therefore we just ***g us.

Got a text from them today. Asking me to call I don't have Bof A so they are SOL.

Another cold text scammer using Verizon's Text Messaging service on their website. The dead giveaway is the message using the [email protected]. Vtext is Verizon's web page text service.

I've been contacted by a 57******@vtext.com saying "(contact bank of America) call 575-376-7497, I received this message late night Sa****ay and another on Sunday Morning. I do not have a bank of America and have no reason to contact them so this tells me that they are trying to spam people. Don't fall for it obviously Bank of America wont contact you via text message unless you have an account and they probably still wouldn't give you some unknown Cell phone number to contact.........
