ORDERED A PART OVER THE PHONE WITH A CREDIT CARD. WEEKS LATER CANCELLED THE ORDER OVER THE PHONE ON A DIFFERENT CREDIT CARD, THEN DISPUTED THE FIRST ONE

The scammer called and wanted to order a part from Mercury Marine that was on backorder. He wanted to "get in line" for when the trim****embly became available. He called back a few days later and wanted a refund because he "found it elsewhere." He called back a week later wanting the same trim****embly and gave me the same story. Hmmm.

HE WANTED TO ORDER A BACK ORDER PART,I EXPLANED ONCE I ORDERED I COULDN'T REFUND.ORDER WAS MARCH 10TH HE CALLED MARCH 13TH AND SAID I HAD TO RFUND MONEY BUT ON ANOTHER CARD.

Man calls and wants to "order" a backordered part @$3000. He'll then call back and ask for a refund (to a different card number). When pressed to prove his iden***y before ordering, he claims wife is calling and he'll call back.
