ROBOTIC VOICE OF A WOMEN LEFT A VOICE MAIL SAYING IT IS THE IRS AND THERE IS A LAWSUIT A***NST ME

Lady called claiming that Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is filling a lawsuit a***nst me and left a return telephone number.

A lady with an Indian accent called from this number (585 226 9880) and said she was calling from London. She warned me about my registered microsoft OS in my computer with licence xyz that was supposedly attacked by a virus and that I should log on to my computer. As I do not use microsoft, I suspected the intentions of the caller and when I insisted to have her name and company number (noting that I would report the call to the police) she finally ***g up. Unfortunately there exist innocent people who would probably believe the caller and unassumingly provide all the details the caller would need..

Received a call this morning. Caller said he was with Windows and my computer was causing trouble on my server's system. Ask some pretty generic questions like "do you ever get any pop-ups". Most of us will get one now and then so it was easy for him to say that was a problem. Hinted around and wanted me to go to their web site. Told him I wasn't interested and ***g up. Windows doesn't operate this way. Neither does my ISP. Looked the number up on other sites and everyone has similar stories. These people are scammers

My caller ID gave 585-226-9880. 'Maria' claimed to be from "E Technical Support" and that my computer was sending her company error messages and was about to break down. She gave their website as www.360etechsupport.com and phone number as 760-429-2871. Further stated that each computer has a unique ID and that is how she contacted me. Had no answer as to how such a unique computer ID could be connected to my name and phone number. Sure smells like a scam to me. Don't give these people any personal information!
