I just laughed and laughed almost uncontrollablely bc I thought it was a prankster. He eventually ***g up.

I received a call from a Lindsey with very broken English as well, I couldn't decipher the company she said she worked for, but after reading this, will not be calling back. Thanks everyone!

I received a voicemail on my cell phone from Lindsay and she left this number. She was extremely hard to understand and had very broken english. They said they saw my resume on Careerbuilder.com and were calling about a job opportunity.  After resear****g for the company name on Careerbuilder as I understood her, this is the information that I found.  The company name is Bankers Conseco Life Insurance and this is their website http://www.bankersconseco.com/default.aspx.  It appears they are looking for insurance agents but I didn't return the call and I won't be since I'm not interested.

Same voicemail. Indian accent. Polite. She said her name is Lindsey, from Bankers (I think). She found my resume on Monster and wanted to discuss some employment opportunities.Sounds like a typical recruiting firm. I've had similar calls from recruiters as far away as California who specialize in querying Word.doc resumes on Monster for employers and setting up interviews with companies that are seeking specific s****s. "Head***ters" if you will. I've actually gotten a couple of very good leads one interview out of town for a great job this way. However, I can't find any information on this "Bankers" or "Bankres" company. Anyway - it's very similar to the way Chipton Ross recruiting contacted me earlier this year and that was definitely legit. They got me an interview for a great job with a company nearby who's job listing was a perfect match for my resume.

I agree with the other callers. I got the same response, same Indian sounding accent.

Caller was polite, but hard to understand -- heavy accent. Based out of Batavia, NY from what I can see, but still have no idea who she was with. Told me they found my resume on Monster.com and had a great opportunity. If great opportunity, why a call at 7:15pm on a Friday night. No good oppotunities during the day? So****ing seems fishy here.

Caller left voicemail regarding job opportunities. Returned call and spoke to a person with strong accent.  I asked for the name of the company and the caller had to repeat at least 4 times before I could understand.  I also asked about the company's business and was told that they work with senior citizens in setting up their social security benefits.  I asked about the salary and was told it 100% commissions.  The company provides you with leads and you set up appointments.  SOUNDS FISHY TO ME!!!  I work in HR and companies DO NOT RECRUIT LIKE THIS!!!  BEWARE!!!

CALLER SPOKE BROKEN MUMBLING, SOME HALF-HEARTED ATTEMPT AT REFERENCING EMPLOYMENT. GUESSING IT MAY BE FROM MY GOING ON INTERNET JOB SITES. CALLED HOME PHONE THEN CELL RIGHT AFTER. THE CELL CALLS ARE REALLY IRRITATING AS THEY AREN'T AUTHORIZED (NEITHER IS THE HOME PHONE FOR THAT MATTER). IN NO WAY COULD IT BE LEGIT, COMPANIES DON'T USUALLY RECRUIT IN BROKEN ENGLISH / SLURRED SPANGLISH
