and why would verizon call from a "sprint" number, why doesn't it show a verizon caller??

this number calls my cell and my house daily! who is it?? if it were verizon then leave a message!!

I'm constantly getting calls on this number.  For those of you who think it's Verizon, think a***n.  I don't have an account w/ Verizon.

I get this number ringing in at least twice a day - one of those during dinner hours . I made the mistake of picking up once and no one answered my "hello"s . If it was the actual Verizon, the one you pay your cell bill through , then why don't they respond when you pick up or why isn't it a toll-free or local number, or one that even remotely matches your monthly statements ? How can it be anything other than some sort of scam ?
