fraud from the philippines be worried your paypal or ebay account is not compromized

We have several different customers around the United States who order from our Company.  In sear****g for a telephone call for customer care I noticed this number belonged to 168 different customers in our database.  Does anyone know how all of these customers have the same telephone number?  Could it be our system picking up the wrong call Id information, or is it the telephone company/web telephone companies sending the wrong information to us to identify each caller?

I too have Vonage, and I just phone QVC about another matter and the lady at qvc told me that my number showed on her caller ID as 585-730-6158 (??!!).  After my call with qvc I dialed the number from my cell but got a recorded message that the number was not in service.

This is a scam number that only adds charges to your bill

For the last two months I've been getting fraudulent billings from this number to my toll free number. At least Frontier Communications realizes that they're fraudulent and reverses the charges. But they don't seem to know how they're showing up or ways to prevent them.

This phone number has appear on my MCI 800# phone bill for the last 4 months. I have called MCI repeatedly to investigate the number on the bill - on one bill there were more than 30 calls - one lasting as long as 51 minutes. This simple say there nothing that they can do and not way for the them to find out why and the only thing I should do is just pay the bill because it's a 800# and anyone can call the number. but if you try calling the number the number is disconnected. By now seem like someone could be able to find out who's using this number

Called house phone, no message, immediately called cell and left no message. I do not answer calls from unknown numbers.

received a phone call from a man looking at a load we had posted looking for a truck. He used foul language and ***g up on me. when i called back to see what company he was with it states the number is disconnected

9 Calls to be exact, some of which were only a minute or two, the longest being 22 min.I am calling vonage to see if I can get the abuse stopped

This is definitely one of Vonage's routing numbers. Like Luellen said, crooks are using Vonage too. I mean, who wouldn't, with the low price and great features? ;)

I have Vonage service as well and sometimes this number has shown as caller id on the other end, as well as several others....I suppose the crooks are using Vonage by now too.

Requested credit card pin number from the credit card company

I'm in california, and it showed up as MY number when I called Paypal. I use Vonage and noticed other vonage users are experiencing the same thing. Which narrows it down to a Vonage issue. I called Vonage and their trying to figure it out.

Several calls from 6 to 18 minutes. OmniPoint Commincations/Choice One provides service for the offending #, but no onw wants to seek the cause.

I'm in Florida, have Vonage, called  a number in area code 716 (Buffalo), my number showed up as 585-730-6158.  I don't block my number; it usually shows up as "Florida" calling.  It must be some kind of merging number for routing purposes.

This is a number owned by charlatans trying to sell some ****.

With this phone number as a reference from Sears MasterCard, someone managed to charge over $2500 in 1 1/2 hours, including 2 Dell computers!!!  Many more were attempted, but denied when they shut down my card.  Sears is going to investigate the number.

I also have vonage viop service.  According to my research, this number is a cell number from Rochester, NY.  So, this may or may not have anything to do with vonage.  This number was given to me by Sears Fraud Dept. as the contact number for my credit card. Apparently, online purchases were made that I know nothing about.  Of course, they shut down my card - what a pain in the ****!

I have vonage voip service.  It appears that sometimes when I make an outbound fax call, this number appears as the calling number to  the recipient.  This is not the****igned number for my fax line.  I****ume that Vonage is somehow routing multiple numbers from this number.

This is a reported abusive number that is charged to me. This number is unknown to me , I do not want to pay for so****ing I have not used.

received 9 calls for a total of an hour on my toll free from this number. one was at 8:21pm for 18.9 minutes. I dont answer my office line after 7 making this impossible.

On an order placed this AM to a major company on their 800 #, this number showed on their screen instead of our real #. We switched to Vonage a few months ago. No clue what this is or why it showed up.

On a call this morning using our AT&T conference call number the 585-730-6158 number was showing up as our host. Strange.

we've received over 600 calls from this number to our business toll free line in the last 6 months.  Any ideas?

It was a fax blast to my fax line about Healthcare Insurance.
