Reply to Fran:The same phone number called me, supposedly from Cuba, NY (which it was) but was then transferred to another person and it seamed to another part of the country, but not sure.Found this site and punched in their number to see if others were getting calls from these 'RUED PEOPLE.'  For those of you who don't know; Understand it is "ILLEGAL" to be HARASSED by a collection agency, debt collector or even an attorney, IT'S THE LAW!  Even if you do owe money, it a***nst the law for them to harass you. Next time they call tell them, "The law says they must discontinue their harassing phone calls and that you will report them to both State and Federal Attorney Generals Office if the do NOT cease all calls immediately!" ....Hope this helps! Received call today from ARS National Services, the man asked me if I was 'so and so', I asked "Who is calling please?" He said, "I don't know this is a call center, "Are you 'so and so,'" I said, "You tell me who is calling my number and then I will tell you my name." He said, "I don't know who is calling as this is a national call center, and the call is for 'so and so' are you 'so and so'?" I said "Yes," for the heck of it, as I have a dear friend lost out there somewhere and unable to find them, thought maybe it could be them trying to contact me. Next a rued man came on the line and very abruptly asked if I was 'so & so'. I asked, "What's your name?" He answered "DANNY, ARE YOU  'SO & SO'." Then, I asked "Who are you, Danny?" as in last name or Company?" He said, "ARE YOU 'SO & SO'?" I said, "You tell me  who you are first." A***n Danny repeated same, "Are you 'so & so?'"... So, I ***g up on him.Then did a search on the internet for: ARS National Service call centers. Found out they are a national debt recovery and collection agency!!
