Leave a CommentAm receiving calls from Salt River Project 602-236-7290. about three a day. Do not know why and when I call back am told that the phone is no longer in service.
Receiving 3 - 6 calls EVERY DAY for the past week from this number, which shows up on caller id as 602-236-7290 originating from P***nix AZ. No message is EVER left on answerphone. When tried to call back got a recording stating the number is temporarily out of service.As I am on the national do not call registry, I am now logging all these calls, and if reach 20 will be reporting the company to the police for harrassment.
They called me 5 times between May 9, 2011 and May 12, 2011. Now on May 26, 2011 called me a***n. After the earlier calls in May I was able to indentify them. They may be calling to see if you want to install solar panels.

I got my 9th call today from this number and this time the gentleman actually talked. AFTER I yelled in his ear. I have a business to run and he was swearing at me. I am about 5 seconds away from driving to AZ!

I've also been recieving calls from the same number (602-236-7290).The calls s****ed several months ago and have been continued.They ask for a certain person and then **** up on you if you say "this is not he (or she)".I've tried on multiple occasions to ask them to stop calling but am continually ***g up on.I've tried to track the number down using various ****ods.It appears to be a P***nix, AZ number and possibly originating from Qwest Corporation.I have been unable to find alternate numbers or positively identify them.Will keep trying until I track them down!

Salt River Project is warning customers of a telephone scam in which someone is using an invalid SRP phone number while seeking credit card or banking information. According to SRP customer services manager Michael Lowe, the impostors appear to be calling from (602) 236-7290 that can appear on caller ID as “Salt River Project” and may be attempting to use any information they collect for illegal purchases. Attempting to call this number back results in a message that the number is not in service. “SRP customer service representatives do not call our customers and ask for credit card numbers,” Lowe said. To avoid falling prey to such scams, never give your credit card or debit card number, or any other personal information, to a caller or visitor without confirming their iden***y, and contact local police if you feel you have received a fraudulent call.

Calling my cell
I have received numerous calls at my business. A quick Google search says that "Salt River Project" is a utilities company in Arizona, but the phone number does not show up anywhere on their website. When I tried to call the number on the caller ID back, it says that the number is disconnected. When I do answer there is ***ody on the other end, and the call get's disconnected.
