Indian guy said he was from amazon and my acct was compromised. He wanted me to download Teamviewer. I called my bank and Amazon turns out to be fraud.

They claimed my phone number was used to create an amazon act and a $200 gift card was purchased, they wanted me to download an app that secures my phone from su****ious activity. When I told him that I had just checked my bank act while speaking to him and there was no such charge and also how we’re they able to detect such activity based on my phone # the Indian person ***g up...smh Reallyyyy people???
