Also NEVER identified themselves as an attempt to collect a loan (which under the fair credit collection act they are required to do) they stated that there was a financial settlement in my behalf and ***ned my info from calling a 3rd party (which is illeagal too) she then made continued threats to take my income away. After i said i was contacting my Lawyer she then said that my loan will be reduced $30,000 after 10 payments. well that is a load of horse ****.. i asked for all the info in writing and to this dday have not heard anything from them. i am still getting collection letters from the DEPT OF EDUCATION in regards to not getting any payments... well why am i paying this company to pay the loan off if nothing is being done?  I AM CONTACTING A LAWYER ABOUT THIS COMPANY AND THE PRACTICES THEY ARE GETTING AWAY WITH

This is a collection agency.  They called about my student loans.  When I s****ed asking questions, she ***g up.
