I READ ALMOST ALL OF THESE, SEEMS TO BE A LOT OF SPECULATION.  NO ONE SEEM TO HAVE A CLUE WHAT THE CALLS REALLY ARE ABOUT. A LOT OF GUESSING GOING ON - A LOT OF PERINOID PEOPLE WITH TOO MUCH TIME ON THEIR HANDS.  WILL FIND OUT FOR MY SELF, DON'T NEED YOUR CONCLUSIONS!

Darlene told me I won one of 4 major prizes, she couldn't tell me who the company was. I asked if we had to buy anything she said no, so we thought we would check it out, this is a vacation company selling packages. I felt I was misinformed, Darlene knew what kind of company it was, if she would of told us up front we wouldn't of wasted our time. We didn't stay for the presentation, but they did give us a scratch off, guess what we won a vacation, in order to qualify there are service fees.

Same story-Darlene just spent 15 minutes explaining that I had won a gift of least $500, but needed to verify my income and that I have a major credit card-duh!  Be careful of the info you give them. She did give me an address in Charleston,SC to pick up my "prize".

I received a similar message, and I don't enter these either, but I called her back and found that the call was not for me and just a wrong number.  Someone had filled out the entry with a false number - too bad for them!

Received the came call too....COME ON people.  Now days there is no such thing as free.  And scammers ALWAY appear professional. Get Real people!!!

same scam,same DIA group, different number. this time it was 866-531-9324 out of maryland. don't  fall it.

just received the call.  someone tried to call back thinking she won a prize.  i checked this website before calling "darlene" back!

Received a phone message today from Darlene at the same 800 number.  The recording said I had won one of 4 prizes valued over $500.  Given the valuable information I found on this website.  I will not be giving that person a call back

Came up as "private office". I answered and there was silence.

Calls DAILY with no message or they **** up when I answer.  Really ****ing me off

I just got a call from a loud rude a** wipe of a man. I pressed one to have them remove my number because we have been getting a lot of calls for the person who had our number prior to us and is obviously in collections. But what shocked me was that he called my by my name and asked if we wanted to better our interest rate from our present credit cards. I asked "what credit cards? I have none" He then said the cards your husband has and stated his name. I got very su****ious and asked him how he got our names and information. He became irate and stated that he was here to help get us out of our "situation" with a lower interest rate. I told him we are not in any situation and I demanded to know where he got my information. He a***n stated he was here to help and I told him he to stop shouting at me. He said " I am not yelling but merely stated what he is here for. I became angry and forcefully told him to stop yelling now. He ***g up on me. He also stated that as long as we have a visa, master card or American express he has access to out information.

Just got the same message from Darlene and I never register for anything either.  She's probably "verifying" phone numbers for a telemarketing company!  I bet you'll get a bunch more phone spam now, Tom, so it kind of is a big deal...

They just called here. Caller I.D. said Private Office

Got the same call but when I called back I found that she was looking for someone else and had a WRONG NUMBER.  Just so you know that call may not have been for you- and it probably wasn't if you never register for anything - so big deal you got a call!!!!!

Mine left a message on my answering ma****e saying I had won a gift valued well over $500 from an on-line give away registration. I never register for anything anymore. Caller said her name was Darlene and she worked for a nation wide third party verifier she wanted me to call her back at 1-800-342-6232.

Ditto.  Same call.  Same caller ID "Gifts Store", funny I just listed my number on the Do Not Call Registry too.  Su****ious.  And I'm getting more unsolicited calls than before!

Received a call from Consumer Services today, June 24, 2008.  Googled their website Diagroupusa.com, because I became su****ious when they asked for my full credit card number and found numerous complaints about them.  Thought I'd better add my name to the list to help protect others.  They said they were doing business out of Orlando, Florida, but their telephone number has a New Hampshire area code.  I have also passed this information along to the Florida BBB.Linnea CiavardiniIn sunny South CarolinaP.S.  Funny that the company is called Gifts Store when they are supposedly a consumer credit lowering company....Yep, they'll get "gifts" when they use unsuspecting person's credit card numbers!
