Got a call from this number as well, same Credit Card BS..I have some good advice to all you android users, if you get a lot of calls like this, create a contact called SPAM DONT ANSWER or so****ing of the like, and s**** adding these numbers to it. Then in the contact settings, select "Block Caller" the call will be blocked from your phone and it might help if its the same number calling you all the time, like it is me.
Who calls from this number?
Free Home security system. Security Networks. Violation of do not call registry. 603 area is New Hampshire. The company that closest fits the promotion is located in Florida http://www.securitynetworks.net/contact_us.php
I was getting this call for months, but I never answered and let it go to voicemail. I talked to them a few months ago when they s****ed calling me and asked them to stop and the guy ***g up on me. They said it was some place that could consolidate your credit debt and pay it off for pennies on the dollar. They didn't stop calling me so then I would answer my phone when I see them calling just to mess with them. Sometimes it really is the best part of my day. I always try to sound like I am a child or mentally handicapped though so they don't think that I am a prospective "Client". You should try it, it's a good stress reliever. "Heyo... Do you like peanut buzzer? I LOVE peanut buzzer on my kilty cat. But I like the way he tastes mores betters when I chew on his tail... Is this Mommy? Why did you leave mommy?? Was it because Daddy was wearing your dress a***n?" etc... Or better yet, pretend like you know the person and they owe you money! "Ya, who I am speaking to? Johnny?!? This isn't Johnny Manrey is it??! I know it's you, you SOB don't you try to fake like you are someone else!! You owe me money ******! Now here is what I am going to do, I have your number so I am going to look you up online to find out where you are calling me from and you will get my final bill from my lawyer ******!! I swear if you don't pay me Johnny there is gonna be trouble this time when Bill the Chicago Weasel finds out!! Your GOING DOWN JOHNNY look under your bed before you go to sleep you SOB, cause you just might find a rabid dust bunny!!" I know I know.... A little sick in the head maybe but they have it coming, and the plus side, the calls have stopped completely.
Have received two calls on my cell from this number - I don't answer calls from numbers that I cannot identify. I don't like this. Please do so****ing to stop this.
I got a call for an offer for a free trial security system. I am tired of this soliciting on my cell phone. I got there attention this time, I cursed at him and I was racist to him too. Never did that before but it was quite fun and stress relieving. By the other comments, I can see that this number does other types of soliciting too. I am going to file a complaint w the FCC as well. If we stop ignoring the calls and file complaints we can get it to stop.
message saying so****ing about a preferred marketing list
Yes make sure you pay close attention to the fine details at the bottom if stuff you apply for on the internet. These people sell your information to third parties, that's when random calls s**** coming. My advice is "If it isn't important or life or *****, don't put your phone number on it."
I got a call from this number, it said I had been selected to win a free home security system, hit "1" to talk to a real person. If I had not been at dinner, I would have connected and messed with them. I have found out that robotic calls made to cell phones are illegal in general (they called my cell), except for emergencies, political announcements, or companies I have given permission to. Instead I filed a complaint on the national do not call site.....
I got some ringtones that no one but kids can hear. I save the number into my phone as "Do Not Answer" and use the aforementioned ringtone. Doesn't bother anyone but my cats now as they can hear it.
I got a missed call from this number on my cell as well, no message left. I tried to call the number back, and got a busy signal twice. As soon as I got home, I checked this forum. Don't know how they got my cell number.
got a call from this number too. didnt leave a message tho.
This number has called me 2-5 times a day for the past 6 months. Pressing 2 does nothing but **** up. I just pressed 1 a***n and was actually transferred to a real person for the first time. Him: "Do you want more information?"Me: "Wow a live person."Him: "...do you want more information?"Me: "Yes, I'd like to know why you have been calling me everyday for the past 6 months"Him: "Talk to you a***n next time" *click*Praying on the elderly, I'm sure.
I just got a call from this number on my cell.
I hate these calls! I looked up the number as it was ringing, thanks to your replies I didn't bother answering. I only recently s****ed receiving calls from random numbers, is anyone else in the same situation? I'm wondering if maybe so****ing I signed up for online gave my number out.
I just received a call from this number. It was an automated message talking about a special program for those with large amounts of credit card debt. It instructed you to push #1 to be connected to a live operator that can help you sign up for the program or to push #2 to be taken off their call list. When you select #2 you are instantly disconnected. If you call the number back its an automated message that says so****ing like "thanks for calling back....blah, blah, blah, credit card debt, blah, blah...to be taken off our call list, press #2. Please allow up to 72 hours to be taken off our list." Once you press #2, you are disconnected. There isn't a confirmation or anything. My number is on a national Do Not Call registry and has been for several months. I have received messages similar to this (as well as this exact one) and each time I select #2 and am promptly disconnected. My last resort has been to s**** filing complaints with the FCC. I filed one yes****ay for another number (that called me 12 times in one day!!). You can visit their website; filing a claim is easy.... http://www.fcc.gov/complaintsLet's stop these horrible people! I didn't sign up for anything. Especially not to have them call and harass me all day long.
I got a call from this number just a few minutes ago. They left a voicemail. The message was half cut off and they told me I was late on payments and to call this number: 888-261-4565 with my most recent statement in hand. When I called it it was some guy with a southern/country accent saying he's received several calls like mine in the last few days and isn't sure why. I'm still skeptical as to whether or not he's involved.
