This number wanted my credit cartd info. It's a scam.
Called this AM....So****ing Federal --bank card de-activated press one. Called my bank and they said I wasn't the first bank customer and they have referred it to the proper authorities
Computer generated voice says "This is_-_-_- Federal. We regret to inform you that we have locked your debit card. To reactivate it dial 1 for security." Has to be a scam. Caller ID only showed ( 100 )
Called me early in the morning n didn't leave a mess I sure hope they stop calling me
Yeah, It's a scam. I've reported it to the fraud department of my bank.
I had the same phone call just a few minutes ago. I don't have a point bank. It was weird. I think they are trying steal people's credit card numbers.
Just got a call on my office phone stating that my Point (?) Bank credit card was suspended and asking me to enter my debit card number. I tried entering random numbers, but that didn't work. I was hoping to get a live do***ebag on the phone to mess with him/her/it, but no luck.
A recorded message said they locked my Coors Credit card. ?? Don't have one. They requested that I push 1 but then the call was cut off.
got a call from an (anonymous) security firm claiming to put a block on my debit card, press 1 for the security department...
"This is [unintelligible] bank. We regret to inform you that we have had to lock your debit card. To be connected to our security department, press '1'."
================Phishers trying to get my ATM/Debit card number by saying it's been blocked and that they are from my credit union's security department. Why don't the phone companies block the use of this fake number?===============Yep, same here. Recorded message said they were from a bank that I don't even have an account with. I pressed "1" for yes and entered in a bunch of garbage numbers a couple of times when asked for my "16-digit account number" - - all voices recorded w/ slightly British English accent (****** Islands, perhaps..?) Eventually the system got tired of my b.s. and ***g up on me. Phone companies should be blocking this number - - I guess as long as the phone bill is being paid, they really don't care.
Because there are so many different callers listed in this thread, I wonder if this number is****igned to a long distance call forwarding company, along the lines of a long distance calling card or long distance add on service to a local phone provider.
call came in from 603-659-9999 on my cell phone. I did not answer it, no message left
Phishers trying to get my ATM/Debit card number by saying it's been blocked and that they are from my credit union's security department. Why don't the phone companies block the use of this fake number?
mine was a recording stating it was wayne bank(where I dont have an acct) saying my debit card has been suspended (of which I dont have one either) so out of curiosity i pressed 1 to continue to c if i got a person instead just an automated prompt to enter my ten digit debit card number and i just ***g up.
atm cash scam
Just got this number and yep...some "Confirm which awards package you would like to receive!" scam. Funny I thought to look it up since I don't usually answer unfamiliar numbers anyways, but was curious. Hopefully they won't call back...
2 complimentary airfare vouchers and hotel reservations. ****.
Yes, we are well aware who these ******s are..... CAPQUEST 01252576300, they have several different numbers which are not difficult to find on the web. I have an ongoing saga with them regarding a disputed debt with Vodafone. I wouldn't advise it but being so dog headed as I am regarding these bullying vermin I've played them along (With my Legal Rights) at there own game, of which I won't bore you as it's well do***ented here. Just an idea at playing them at there own game regarding their persistant phone calls, and not leaving a message when not answered. If you do answer their call they must by law confirm who you are by asking some security questions. Simple, just don't give them any untill they can confirm to you who they are by satisfying some of your own security questions. Example, I used to ask them what is the name of their shift line manager and contact phone number to phone them back, or their personal address and phone number as they ask from us, they never would give this information so I told them they have failed the security check, then I would keep them on the phone as long as possible just to waste their time. Other example questions you may ask are basic company details like company registration or V.A.T number, go to this link for their basic details http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/4a4abdd582f ... def/compdetails
I got a call from them hawking a website atmcashformula.com or some such s**t, the site was blocked by firefox as Malware.
Got a call (recording) from a company offering a limited time offer to save energy with PG&E (California utility company) by buying solar panels. Said to press "1" to hear the offer, press "2" to be removed from the list. I ***g up.
called me and my mother within an hour. not even on the samephone
Got a call from these idiots (I'm sure they think otherwise) on my cell.....tried to return the call and got a busy signal (go figure).....when I tried to return the call from my home phone, I had to endure more B.S. about some trip I won, without details as to how I should claim my prize, blah, blah, blah, blah, it was never ending.....I really thought about about slitting my wrists.....I could never speak to a live person, I pressed every ****on on the phone's key pad in every possible order you could imagine and the "nails on a chalkboard" voice on the other end would not shut up and let me talk.....I finally ***g up. What an ****** company! I'm sure whatever they have to offer is a scam!
They just tried calling me left a message saying I won a free trip and to call them at 1-800... then s****ed talking about how i won a free trip. Strange
Called at 8 A.M. and ***g up on ma****e. Several sites say this person calls at all hours and threatens those who answer. Andy ***t of Newmarket NH is alleged to be the caller. Our Caller ID just said Newmarket NH.
They call me three times a day and never say anything.
Yes they called me as well its a company called Cyber Crime Unit...
I answered and they said they were "Card Services". Told me I could lower my credit card interest rate on two cards....... and expected me to give them my cr card numbers. hahahhahahaha *** chance. Very wishy washy. They are scammers and they want your credit card numbers. Then who knows what they would do with them?
