Claimed to be John, a Microsoft Certified Engineer. I had received warnings and told him I would report him.

I have got a phone call everyday, numerous time each day, since last week from this number. I don't answer unknown callers. Being they were so persistent and calling a number of times, every day, but not leaving a voicemail, I googled this phone number and found many have issued complaints a***nst this phone number. Complaints state, these people are stating that they are from Microsoft, HP, Apple...any computer company. They say there is an issue with your computer, a virus, missing data, defective software. Out of curiosity, I answered the phone today, to see if the reports were correct and they were. When I answered the phone, a "foreigner" introduced himself, very hard to understand but he was Oriental. He told me he was from Microsoft and was calling in regards to my computer. I stopped him right there and told him, I don't have one. He sounded irritated and asked me if I was Debbie, I said yes, he said Debbie Burkes? I said no, you have the wrong number. He asked me, what is your name? I said it is Debbie, but not Burkes, you have the wrong number....and I ***g up. Hopefully, this will deter any further attempts to connect with me.

They call endlessly, claiming to be from Microsoft. They say my computer is sending them messages about being infected with a virus and as a valued customer they will clean it for free all I have to do is give them access to my computer. When asked to give me the mac address from my computer "sending" them the message they ***g up on me. Next time I told them I knew they were trying to steal my personal information and they ***g up. Yet they keep calling!

The person calls claiming to be a Microsoft engineer and offers to****ist you with eliminating infections on your computer. Microsoft states clearly on their website that they would never call to****ist someone with fixing their computer. Today I asked to talk to the manager. I was not put on hold rather the phone was simply handed to someone. I have tried being nice, rude, and ****. They are calling me several times a day.
