its an automated call from a women support center in surrey looking for support.

It is a charity called the The Surrey Womens  Centre society in BC seeking financial support.

It is someone making prank calls and using a false number to do it.  HOWEVER,  if they become persitent (as in continually for seven or more days)  then it is harassment and you can have the police invloved.  I had three calls at my home about three hours apart asking for me by a name I don't use and when asked who was calling, they gave silly info or said nothing at all.  The police are aware and if any more calls are rec'd you can **** up and dial *57 and it will record the call at the phone company.  Then if it becomes a harassment case with the police, they have all the info they need to charge the person.  You also need to keep a log of the what time the calls were made and what was said.

The person or business that keeps call is very persistent.  They call every day at different hours.  How annoying.

The other day, someone called me from this number but refused to leave the message when my family asked him to. It is so weird. I am wondering whether this is some kind of phone scam. Does anyone know?
