I learned from a person that claimed i owed them money( they cleared me of paying - they did not get the paperwork that i paid) that Icon updated thier system. It looks like the old database is being used.  They called me a few years later. So you may of paid but still are being harrased. Illegal. Also , I called Ontario Consumer Services Bureau at (416) 326-8611 or toll free at (800) 889-9768.  They are not licensed for Ontario- so feel free to complain

Hi I also got a call from this # and I had a valid outstanding debt and was dealing with an Anthony Desilva. I did pay it but after I confirmed with the original client that ICON was representing them. Just make sure before you pay your bill check with the orginal creditor if the calling agency is hired by them.

This appears to be a valid collections agency, but with faulty equipment.This is a company from Langley, BC. They're registered members of several BC business****ociations. The woman, Kam Atwal, who owns/manages this company and says that she is the supervisor (one woman show?) has been calling my house for months. She's rude and determined. To top it off, the number she says her system says she's calling, isn't our phone number. The address she's said she's calling, isn't our address either. She asks for a man we don't know and won't believe that it's not my boyfriend when he picks up the phone. I don't care if she deals with a lot of liars and deadbeats, that doesn't give her any extra privileges. This "crossed connection" is a problem with her system and she needs to deal with it. I've been faxing her Do Not Call notices, as per the instructions of one of her business memberships, but I'm not sure if it's working. She called my phone the day after I sent the first one and said that our phone number isn't in her system. What a surprise. Hopefully the second fax, listing her erroneous information about her chasee, will help clear things up.
