Ok so here is a trick you can try, google the recording that you get from a phone number having been disconnected. save it to your computer, turn up your speakers, and record the message onto your phone as a new recorded message. Keep that going for about 2 wks, tell all your friends what you are doing so they know your number is not really disconnected, and so they can press the star key to leave a message for you. Telemarketers will disappear. I personally was getting 2 calls a day, up to 6 days a week from these hassling auto warranty insurance numbers. Some of the numbers mentioned were recognized, but some of them come onto my phone simply as private. The other option i have worked on is to record the very first part of the disconnected number, use a mic to record my voice on the last part of the message, put the two recordings together so that the first 5-10 seconds sounds like your number is disconnected, then finishes off with your regular message, that you usually record, to leave a message. The auto warranty companies name is General Warranty. It's true that they refuse to be put you on the "do not call list." If you get mad at them like I did, they will get even by harassing you even more. I received 5 calls 2-3 minutes apart from each other from them after getting mad with them. You either have to get a new phone number or they just won't stop!!!

Constant calls from people trying to sell you a car warranty. It's obviously a scam and a huge waste of time.

Warranty Services, Have been calling multiple times each week for months. They even leave messages on my cell and work phone. Hitting #2 to refuse offer doesn't work they continue to call.

always get automated dialer stating my auto's warranty insurance was expiring and that i needed to renew right away. alway press 1 to speak to someone - once told male person my # was on donot call list and he hngup.. scared him.. next time was female. and went along with call . .she asked me for year.make.mode­l of my vehicle.. told her 94 honda civic and she said you don't own any others.. sd NOPE, she said that too bad and hngup on me!!!! now that is telemarketing at its best.

Funny thing is, when you dial the number back you get "I'm sorry, the number you have dialed has been disconnected or is no longer in service". When you do the option to actually talk to a representative, and tell them you want to be removed from their calling list, they just **** up on you. It has happened to me twice now with this same number, so I know it isn't just a mistake.

Well for anyone else who may read this and have trouble with this company. I have not rec a call since the last post I placed on here. I called them approx 20 times and emailed about as much they seem to have gotten the clue so good luck to all.

Auto Warranty Renewal; Keeps calling our business

This is a warranty expiration for a vehicle I had purchased at Napoli Auto Center Auto in ****ord CT. When you ask to have your name removed they **** up on you.

They keep calling my phone number with an automated voice system. They say press 1 to speak to a person, press 2 to be removed. In the past week they have called 3 times. The first two times I pressed 2 to be removed. The third time I tried to speak to the person about the problem and they ***g up on me.

This "company" calls constantly and refuses to remove me from its list. I have spoken with representatives at least a dozen times, and usually they **** up the second they realize I am going to request that they remove my number.

These guys will not stop calling me. I have done everything to ask them to stop (and they should not have been calling in the first place).

Pressing 1 connects you with a person who will **** up on you if you ask to be removed from their list. Pressing 2 states that it will remove you automatically, however it doesn't. Return calls go unanswered.

Same for me.  They have called my an incredible number of times, and when I pushed one to speak with someone live, she ***g up on me.  I've tried numerous times to get "unlisted" from them.  The line disconnects, and there's no confirmation that they won't call a***n.  I've had it!

Just got a call from this number a few minutes ago.  When I picked up, ***ody answered just like yes****ay.  Apparently, it has not been taken down.  It is even more annoying that they call you are busy at work.

Still coming through as of last night (7/23/07).  I am pretty sure they got my number from my Honda dealer (I use a specific number that I used when I wanted to avoid calls from a car salesman).Pressed 2, held and asked to be removed from list, etc.  Nothing seems to help.  I hate, hate, hate these companies that call with recorded messages, then **** up on you when you as to be removed.Curses on them and their families.

Spoke to Rep. Terry at Level 3 Security and he informed me that the number was taken down as of 1 hour ago! YAY! We win this one!  Hopefully they don't go out and grab another number anytime soon.I s****ed giving Terry the phone number and before I could finish, he finished off the last 4 digits for me.  So they were definitely on this one!

Two calls in two days - no message left - and this is an unlisted Skype number, so they're using a random number dialer program to make harassing calls. According to reverse lookup, the number is an 'unlisted or unavailable' land line originating in Pineville KY. Now if I can obtain this much info in less than 5 minutes on the internet, why can't law enforcement put an end to these folks harassment tactics?

Someone needs to find out where this call center is based, and get the home phone numbers of each of the telemarketers working there. It would be nice to return the favor.

I get called by this number all of the time. I called it back, and they have a ma****e that keeps telling you they are busy, press 1 to continue to wait. I plan to pursue this all legal channels, and if that doesn't work I will try to see if the underweb has any hackers up to the job.

This company constantly calls the Norwalk Police Dept with regardst to city vehicles.  Attempted numerous times to press 2 prompt to be taken off the call list.  Also pressed one and when the female operator came on the line and I identified myself with the Norwalk Police Dept, she rudly ***g up on me.
