said an arrest warrant would go out but did not say who or why.

They claim to be US Customs and Border Protection, and answer the NY phone number as such. They are all Asian, and its an obvious scam. I called FTC whom told me scammers are targeting older folks and people who served in miltary. I gave the scammer a real earful.
