Yes, same thing happened to me. The voicmail demanded that I call back before 2 pm. Mr. Webster was his name. They needed to talk about a very important business matter.

called and insisted that I owed money... Wanted my Social and date of birth.

They called wanting to confirm the last 4 digits of my social security number when i demanded to know who was calling, they said it was a personal matter and refused to tell me - since they wouldnt tell me, I wouldnt confirm my social security number. They call 3 times a day!!!!

Keeps Calling

Calls regularly looking for person that no longer lives at this address. I Cannot give any forwarding address/contact. Asked to be taken off list, to no avail.

You people are extremely ignorant. First of all the do not call list does not apply to debt collections, and if you tell them not to call you they won't. Sitting around complaining about it isn't going to stop the calls. Do so****ing about it. Oh and its not illegal nor is it harassment so you might want to brush up on your legal knowledge.

I believe there is a law for people like us and I do believe that it states that a collection agency may only call 3 x per week and anything else can become a lawsuit, not just for the person calling you but the company itself. And yes you can write the attorney generals office and complain which s****s a formal letter from them for harrassment and finishes with a fine. In the end---we win!

caller talked so fast could not understand the name of the caller, business, the phone number or the extenstion number.

This number has called twice in the past two days at odd times and leaves only a recorded message of the phone number. Nothing else.

I didn't answer, but he acted like he knew me to the family member who picked up the phone. Wanted my phone number, but we wouldn't devulge that information.

Easily fixed, took less than 2 minutes. Called, gave the the number of the phone they were calling. They asked me if I was X, and told them no, I am not (though they never asked who I was. I explained that I got a new phone a few weeks back and would rather not continue getting calls from them if I am not who they were looking for. They said they removed the number from the system.

Very rude person named Katherine called supposedly for some business matter.  When she thanked me for her being rude, I ***g up.  This doesn't seem legitimate at all.

They have been calling me 10 times a day simply because I have the first name and my roommate has the last name of the person they are looking for. After calling an endless list of 1800-numbers and speaking with a mul***ude of do***ebag employees of National Credit Inc. I have come to this. WRITE THEM AND APPARENTLY LEGALLY THEY HAVE TO STOP. who knows if this works. I'm writing them today and ill repost if they actually discontinue calling me.Collection agencies must comply with a Federal law that provides consumers certain rights. They have been calling 6 or 8 times a day since I got a new phone last week.  I have told them that the person they are looking for is unknown to me yet they continue to call.  I am on the DNC list, what' s up?

I use the multiple lines at work to tie up their phones after we are closed for the day. I have never gotten a real person, when they call me or vice versa.

I've been getting calls on my cell phone from this number and when I pick up, the woman asks for "Lian". I keep telling her they got a wrong number and she says it's the cell phone number "Lian" told them. I asked who they are and she said they were "Chast", whatever that is.

this number calls repeatedly and there is never anyone there when you answer.  When you call the number back you get a recording telling you to enter the extension number or to hold for the next available person.  When you wait, you get someone that demands to have your number or "enjoy your next phone call".  I asked if this was some form of harassment, she s****ed being very flip about why they call is because I won't give my number and when I said that I was going to call the Attorney General about these calls she promptly ***g up on me. Imagine!
