Leave a CommentHome Depot Surveys ****DO NOT fill out!!!!!!!!! They sent a sales man (we were told no sales, etc...) to test our water (should take 30-45 minutes) 3+ HOURS later the guy from PURE WATER finally left. The last hr. ARE U READY TO SIGN FOR a system that s****ed @ $9000.00 had it down to $4000. We told him OVER AND OVER were not signing. To listen to this s***ch we were told we would be given a gift/gift card - WE GOT NOTHING, that's only if you purchase there system !!!!!!!!! We have spent many of dollars at Home Depot over the years/ NOT ANY LONGER....
BEWARE !!! There is a Home Depot giveaway of an LG Washer / Dryer at the Oneonta, NY store...It has been there for 1 year and the sponsors Rain Soft and Pure Water Consultants based in Binghamton, NY, are taking the names and phone numbers from the ballot box and calling people insisting on visiting their homes... supposedly to test the water... The phone number they used to call me was 607-771-6303. Two different people called that number back and once they answered "Rain Soft" and the next time we called they answered "Pure Water"... rain Soft said they didn't call anyone and pure water said they would take my name off their list...Pure Water Consultants, 40 ***ndywine St, Binghamton, NY
Pure Water Consultants. Also will call you from 607-701-8463 as of recently. If you redial long enough, they will answer "Home Depot services" or so****ing similar (could not believe they answered so i wasn't really paying too close attention) They call several times a day. After mostly **** ups, s****ed answering the calls randomly to get to the bottom of this. Today I actually spoke to someone, who was polite enough to not **** up, The first thing I said was "Is this Home Depot?" She responded "Yes". I asked to be taken off their call list. She replied that they did not have a call list. I asked to talk to her supervisor.I should have said "call pile" because "Kevin" said they use the entry form sheets to call people. He also confirmed it was Home Depot, and that one could get a number of calls from them each day depending on how many times they entered a contest at the store.I am guessing that they get points or so****ing to have someone on the phone with them. He could have easily ***g up as I suggested some things (which I am sure fell on deaf ears anyway) A general point I tried to get across was that if they indeed had a call list of some type, they would be able to see who they call and at which frequency they do so. If they see that there is someone on a list several times, they can save hours in payroll by just leaving a message once a week. I also informed them that If someone frequently visits Home Depot enough to be ****ered in by a contest every time, they like Home Depot and trust that ***nd. But getting calls from a random number, and having it be a **** up, it becomes a crank call, and delegitimizes the trust the company has built up with their customer. The general feeling I got was that this is your typical corporate America garbage, and there isn't anyone the poor guy can tell up the chain. He didn't offer any solutions, but I told him we would answer the next call, because the one they wished to speak to was not at home at the time. All I know is I won't ever enter contests like others do in my family, and I definitely will not shop at Home Depot a***n. Lesson learned.
This number is from "Pure Water Consultants"...or so****ing like that. If you enter a sweepstakes for a John Deere mower or anything like that in the Syracuse/Binghamton NY area, they call you to do a free water ****ysis in the hopes of selling you a home H2O treatment system...softener, filters, osmosis, whatever your bucket of money holds, they will replace with pure, clean water! Nice guys, no hard-sell, were on-time for the appointment, the rep who set it up on the phone was also couteous, they were very honest, - that is - if you don't need stuff, they will let you know you are OK. Make sure you know your system - if you have one - and what it does and does not do - or at least what it's supposed to do --- and they will let you know if it is functioning properly. If yes, they probably won't try to sell you so****ing you don't need. They may point out that what you have may be obsolete, softeners may recharge more often than necessary, costing you in salt, filters may not get out the chlorine if you have muni****l water, or you may have lower quality stuff than theirs - and they really do have have nice home water treatment equipment --- that is if you care what is going thru your pipes and down your family's throats... But if you DO need water treatment, and believe me - many folks out there do and don't know it - or maybe they do know it but don't know what to get - these guys will sell you great stuff. They have stuff much better than off-t******lf home depot or sears type stuff,. A***n, they are honest guys, trying to make a living, and selling a product that is becoming more and more necessary, as our water supplies (muni AND well water - pesticides, hardness, chlorine, cysts, etc) become more and more contaminated, or you're like us with water that's so hard it must have ****** in it! (just a joke). Bottom line: If you filled out a sweepstakes form at Home depot for (in our case) a John Deere Lawn Tractor, this number is a water treatment equipment company. They didn't waste our time at all, we found our equipment was OK and are waiting for our Home Depot gift card now they said they ***uld mail in 4-6 weeks for letting them in our home to test our water.
