I called the number back and someone answered Medic Alert can I help you, I responded with my air horn :)

Received call on land line - caller notified me of sending a" spurious" medical aid at no charge to me and asked me to indicate acceptance by clicking #1. Did not comply but asked I be informed of who initiated and what was being sent- caller ***g up. Unable to return call-no answer or line busy

I just received a call. It was a pre recorded message stating that I was to receive a medical alert devise and that it was paid for already and shipping was taken care of. All I had to do was press 1 to receive it. I am concerned that someone would fall for this so be aware that this is a scam. I tried calling back, but it was busy.
