I got a call today 2x in a row. left a message and they will not stop calling me.

They're bill colectors looking for the previous owner of the phone.

I got the call on my cell and didn't answer. I called back to see who it was and they kept asking me my name and would not tell me who they were or what they wanted. I would not give them my name and ***g up as I felt it was a scam They left a voicemail with some file number and a 800 number. I checked online and from the comments it's a scam.

This number called but I got missed call from her. They told me to call back to discuss about my bank account!! I went to my bank and ask if they called me. They said this was spam!!!!

These call about 7times even after hours late after. 8:00 pm one time these people got card nu.so I hat to get another one an I almost gave them my other one.

A creditor for a credit card I got in the mail 12 years ago. I was tending to landlord tenet case the land was is very sharded.these or being very difficult like they or hiding so****ing. It seems like a scam to me it appears to be constructive very damaging targeting me like I'm prey fresh meat or a very slow individual.it seem to be be a cover up or I'm being set up

Hecker, a New Jersey lawyer, and several out-of-state debt collection agencies that Hecker represents known as the APM Companies resulting in more than $7.9 million dollars in cancelled debts for West ******ians.McGraw’s Consumer Protection Division entered into an agreement with Hecker and his two affiliated Pennsylvania collection agencies, APM Financial Solutions, LLC, and Account Portfolio Management, LLC. The settlement requires the cancellation of $7.9 million dollars in charged-off credit card debt that Hecker and the APM Companies attempted to collect from 1,922 West ******ia consumers. The companies also paid $45,000 toward customer refunds and consumer education and agreed to delete the debts from credit records.McGraw’s office began investigating Hecker and the APM Companies in 2006 after receiving complaints from West ******ia consumers who reported they were threatened with lawsuits and excessively pressured to pay alleged debts. To further embellish the lawsuit threat, Hecker sent letters to consumers on his law office stationery to demand payment of the debts. The Attorney General’s investigation revealed that the majority of the collection attempts were for "time-barred" debts, i.e., debts so old that the statute of limitations to sue had expired and lawsuits were therefore barred by law.The Attorney General’s Office also discovered that Hecker and the APM Companies – which were attempting to collect debts in West ******ia without being licensed or bonded as required by state law – were demanding payments without any proof that they owned the debts or of the amounts owed other than a computer spreadsheet."The credit card industry and predatory lenders have sometimes saddled West ******ia consumers with exorbitant debts," Attorney General McGraw stated. "This unfortunate situation has now evolved into a multibillion-dollar debt-buying industry in which unlawful tactics are used to coerce consumers to pay debts they may not owe with funds they do not have."I will not allow consumers facing dire financial cir***stances to be crushed by abusive collection practices. Never seen this number before.Reading some of the complaints.Dose not matter how long a repo or debt is,after 7 years it comes off yoyr credit report but you are still owe the debt by law for the rest of your life.Read the laws from your state and Fed. laws.

I received two v-mails from L Heckler's office. When returning the first phone call, the individual indicated that I owed $50.00 from a credit card bill. I explained that I had paid that bill in full and asked that they send the information in the mail. They said that I needed to take care of the matter "NOW." The person was very rude. The second message was left by Nichole Krauss. Nicolle indicated that I needed to call her back or she would have to render a decision on my behalf. She also left a reference number. I called her back and a***n explained I did not owe this money and I have no intentions on paying it. I asked her not to call me back a***n especially on my work number. She indicated that she will continue to call me until I pay. She called out a SS #, which was wrong and asked if it was mine. We ultimately ***g up and I hope I do not hear from them a***n.

I answered the phone and the guy asked me three times if I was who I was. I knew so****ing was up. When he wanted to know my address I ***g up. They called back two more times and I ignored.Then I called back about ten minutes later and the girl who answered the phone knew MY phone number right away and told me that my number was not in their "records" and ***g up on me. Strange that she would know my number out of all the numbers in the world as the one that was calling THEM.Whats pressing, and most odd, is the organization only got my cell number by calling my parents and claiming they were****ociated with the "Attorney General" of the state they reside in. My parents, being honest and good people, quickly abliged by giving out my super-secret personal cell number.Interestingly I am getting a lawyer friend to look into what laws may have been broken in this case and any legal recourse that may be taken.

I am a property manager, so i deal with rude people all day long - but none as rude as these are! DO NOT SEND THEM MONEY!! JUST **** UP! If they wont send you so****ing in writing and they ignore all the rules of the Fair Credit Act, how can they be FOR REAL??  Somebody please make them stop!

This company is bogus! Also you are only allowed to get 2 calls per week if you're a NY resident by the law. Report them to the NY credit division and they will receive 1k fine everytime you can demonstrate that they broke these rules. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO!!!!

These debt collectors are getting sloppy. Their robot called and asked if I was me, and gave me the option to push "2" for NO! Can you believe that?! I've been getting chased for an illegitimate debt for 10 years now and if there's one thing I've learned, bottom line... DON'T ANSWER CALLS FROM A NUMBER YOU DON'T RECOGNIZE! EVER!

they got your number because you gave your number to the electric company, gas company, or cable tv, or any other house/home service you might of gave your cell phone # too, and they are trying to collect on an old debt that you never paid.... run your credit report for free to see who you owe money to

I keep getting calls from this number too, they are asking for my husband. The only problem is they have called his Work cell phone. How they got that number is beyond me. They are also calling MY cell phone but they haven't called his? After reading all of the comments on Google, I will not be answering. I can't believe how many hits I got on this number.

These clowns called my cell phone looking for my ex-wife of 3 years ago.  I told them she was long gone, with no phone or forwarding address, and I liked it that way.  I also told them to remove my number from their call list.

Laurence A. Hecker, Law Firm. He really is a junk debt collector. He buys old debt for pennies on the dollar. He hires flunkies who will do everything to bully and make you pay on old debt. They are extremely rude and do not care what you have to say in your defense. Even if you or a family member do owe money from ages ago, or don't owe anyone anything, DO NO TALK TO THESE PEOPLE. Either don't answer or **** UP AS FAST AS YOU CAN once you realize who they are. They are the bottom of the bottom feeder slime ball debt collectors! this "collector" called about an 8 year old repossession. Hey, that was then...but this alleged law office has a bunch of goons working there that yell and fight to get a few dollars from you over a useless old debt. They buy the debt from the original creditor for cents on the dollar so they can technically own the debt and attempt to collect SO****ing but if any nut from this number calls you, do NOT give any details to them! Nothing!

Our number is unlisted. Caller is no one we know. He is rude and a***sive.

I received a call from this place at about 6:30 pm. My phone number is unpublished & unlisted. They asked for my mother who hasn't even lived in Michigan in over five years. I just said that they have the wrong number and I've never heard of that person before. My caller ID said "no data" so I did *69. The number came up as 609-570-3039. It was also an unpublished number (reverse look-up) in New Jersey. Just really strange!!!
