Called this morning, said "You must be the person to talk to about getting on your 401(K) radar"my reply was nope, remove our name and I ***g up

They called and did not leave a message. I googled the number, which led me here. I did not call back

Some sort of a scammer with caller Id "SIXTELL"? She spoke with an accent and had my correct name. I asked who could I say was calling and she became evasive and said she was not authorized to disclose the nature of the call, i.e., pretending to be a secretary. I ***g up.

I announced myself (my name), they did not say anything, I could hear them on the line, I announced myself a***n. Waited, then "they" ***g up. I am IT support so I have to answer and answer a certain way each time. I have to say my name and such. It think they are compiling info for a devious purpose. Then caller ID said SIXTELL. Which I googled and it lead me here.

They keep calling my personal cell phone as well as office phone number, which has an extension****ociated with it. They leave no messages, and when I try to call back all I get is a busy signal. Can't even tell them to stop calling me! FYI - all of my numbers are listed on the Do Not Call registry - what a farce.

They are trying to get info from you using Social Engineering. Don't leave them any answers. Do not confirm your name or info about your compagny ***le. They are probably trying to catch other employes. Inform your business security officer if you have one. Try to educate your phone receptionist about these kind of calls, it's your firewall.

YEs they are trying to get info - they had my name right but wrong company. the he wanted to **** up - I kept him on the line and s****ed questioning him - he got nerves - and would tell me anything.

No message left , no phone ID . Did not answer it .

This was the third offs**** caller looking for someone who used to work for our parent company. They call my direct line and always ask for someone who no longer works for the company and who never worked in my department. It happpened constantly last fall but when I s****ed posting to all of the phony number sites, they stopped. They have s****ed a***n...this was the seventh call in past two days (six today). I don't ask where they are calling from...I just say they have a wrong number and **** up.

Called and asked for a person with my name but different last name !! probably a scammer.
