I got the same message this last week. I went down the my bank to s***k with the manager about this. We all understand it's not Wichovia sending the messages. But who gave my unlisted phone number to the bad guys and told them we where Wichovia customers??? I was told alot of stuff by Wichovia employees trying to explain this fact away. I was not comfortable with the answers, so I went ahead and closed all of my Wichovia accounts. I found a small bank with 5 locations, the service is better, the service fees are less, and they credit any ATM fees.

Received SMS from this phone number stating "customer issue, wachovia services frozen. please call at 954 748 1102Also displays it came from a phone number of 614-446-1196, but displays the callback as the 609 number.
