Leave a CommentWe also received a fax on 18-Oct-10 from Who's Who in Ca***a - Office of Public Affairs (Jennifer Crowley), with our selection to be published for free in the 2010 Edition of Who's Who - big whoop! Who has the audacity to send such a scam? Folks, beware of these types - you can be taken for ***dreds of dollars (we were a few years ago with another company). I believe the bigger your business, the easier it is for these scammers of faxes (and even telephone callers) to gather information. However, there is a 1-800 number in small print at the bottom of the fax to be removed from their list, for whatever it is worth.
Name & number has c****ed. I received a fax from Who's Who In Ca***a - Office of Public Affairs (Jennifer Crowely) editorSame as everyone else - published free in 2010 edition of Who's who in Ca***a, date of approved candidacy, " The Director thinks that I may make an interesting biographical subject, as acheivement is what Who's Who is all about" ........Now it's fax back to 416-913-2673 Nothing is ever free!
Faxed info. requested back to 609-613-5917 Jennifer Crowley, (supposed?) Editor of (fictional?) Who's Who of Execs Profs & Entre. (WWEPE) Thanks for prior postings to alert to possible spam and scam.
I received a fax from Jennifer Crowley stating that my Co. had been selected to be in "Who's Who of Executive Prof. and Entrep" so I decided to google because they were asking for my info. They should already have it If I had been selected to receive so****ing.
I too received this fax but like Phillip, the name on mine was Judy R. Collins. Guess they thought that they would c****e the name and people wouldn't catch on? Yeah, right.
received fax today, just about the same as everyone else. persons name was Judy R. Collins, Profile Coordinator
Now faxing their name as Office of Public Affairs at Oxford Who's Who---same phishing scam, different name.
Got the same fax. I faxed back a piece of black construction paper 10 times. Maybe if we all run up her costs by ****ing her toner cartridge every day, she will stop.
I received a fax from this number for the Princeton's whos who. glad I checked it out. Jennifer Preston is going to be a pain, I can see it coming. I was approved for candidacy 7/13--a joke. Watch out for her. If this keeps up and she keeps eating my film, she will be getting sheets of black paper in her fax ma****e. Beware! ! !! and May you never get bit by the scam bug
I received fax from Jennifer Preston by Princeton Who's Who of Executive's, Professionals, and Entrepreneurs. Sounded fishy so I went on line to search for this publication. Apparently, does not exist. The fax number given is: 609-613-5917. It even gave the "date my candidacy was approved". BEWARE!
I got the fax too. Now I am going to go old school on them and send them the taped together neverending fax. Wish me luck. Why are people like this not in jail anyway?
Fax from Jennifer Preston by Who's Who of Executive's, Professionals, and Entrepreneurs.***SCAM!***

FAX received from Jennifer Preston, Editor in Chief of "Princeton Who's Who of Executives, Professionals and Entrepreneurs" advising me that I and my business had been "selected to be published for free" in their 2009/2010 edition. I have no knowledge of the publication and have no connection with Princeton University. Certain information was requested which appears to be phishing.Caller ID: Jennifer PrestonCaller: Princeton Who's Who of Executives, Pro*****ler Type: Fax Ma****e
Ayup...the anonymous fax from Dear Jennifer Preston. Wasn't she in Legally Blonde?
FAX received from Jennifer Preston, Editor in Chief of "Princeton Who's Who of Executives, Professionals and Entrepreneurs" advising me that I and my business had been "selected to be published for free" in their 2009/2010 edition. I have no knowledge of the publication and have no connection with Princeton University. I have been receiving these faxes for years! From different people and have called many times to have my fax removed. Each time they say they are going to remove me and they don't. I have called the fax removal line so many times, must be a ploy. I am so annoyed!
Same as Jenn's post above. Also, it says "candidacy approved". Webster's dictionary lists "Candidacy" as 'one who seeks office, employment, etc.' I'm not seeking anything here. I don't Princeton would have made that mistake.

Once a***n, we're thrilled to have been selected for, "The Princeton Who's Who of Executives, (etc.)." Just wonderful! The Director thinks we'd make "an interesting biographical subject," except he/she doesn't quite know our name, type of service, city, ***le or anything else. Well, really it's just an honor to be nominated. And, of course, to have donated the paper and ink required to learn of the nomination...
Got a generic fax saying our business has been selected to be published in "The Princeton Who's Who of Executives, Professionals and Entrepreneurs." Sounds terribly prestigious. Almost as good as the envelope screaming "EXTREMELY URGENT - OPEN IMMEDIATELY," addressed to "Current Occupant."
GOT A FAX FROM JENNIFER PRESTONI WAS A CANDATE TO BE IN WHO'S WHOTHAY DIDN'T EVEN KNOW MY MANE
I received a fax purporting to be from this number and seeking information about myself and my business.
This is a spam/scam number. At the very least a phishing operation.
