Calls and when answer just says choice 1

I get a call from this number, sometimes 2 or 3 x a day.I either hear a phone ringing (as if I called that number) or they **** up..or asking for a weird name...I say it's the wrong number, he ****s up on me.Caller ID says Allentown, PA.Go figure..... Is this the Gov?

I received numerous calls from this number on my caller ID.  I answered this morning and they ask for a donation for the local police who have died over the last year.  They claim to be holding a fundraising dance and our names will go in a program as supporting the local police.  Is this a scam and just a fund-raising group who will keep most of the money they collect?

I received a call from this number today. Caller ID listed it as "Allentown PA". I answered and after a moment there was a ringing tone as if I had called them and it was ringing on their end. I ***g up. Glad I did.

All I heard the male voice say was "in the involvement with the twin towers and with the new presidential election..." then w***ver it was ***g up.  It was very weird.

My wife intercepted 3 calls for me it's an older man she says and he asks for me by name, but he will not give his name or a number.There are three numbers so fare that are recorded on my caller ID; 610-351-2365, 610-351-2366, and 610-351-2371, I've tried calling the numbers but none of them are accepting calls.

(610) 351-2365 showed up on my Caller ID on Tuesday, 6/24/08 at 8:48 pm.  We weren't home and there was no message left on our ma****e so I googled it and found this page.  Now that I think about it, I have received quite a few solicitations for donations.  My husband agreed to give so****ing last year and they sent an envelope and sticker for our vehicle.  Ever since, we tell them no thanks and **** up.

i wanted to update my comment. i went to intelius.com and see this number is considered residential and coming from Easton, PA......strange.

i received this call today, along with many previous calls from numbers like this one. this time somone actually spoke with me. he sounded very nice and asked for me by name. i instantly asked who is this? as he was begining to talk i got the gist he was some telemarketing style company so i interupted him and asked him to remove me from his calling list. he ***g up on me. these harrasing calls need to stop or i'll have to contact my congressmen to take firm action a***nst these telemarketing and charity phone callers for invading my privacy. a number like this one called me at 9:30 last night. it has to stop!
