Received a voicemail from this East Indian guy, claiming to be Officer Derek, with the same scam.  Other phone numbers with the same script 954-343-5968, 814-273-1518, 818-451-4026 and 866-701-2081. Avoid all these. They are scams. When I spoke with one of them, he could not give me the exact name of the supposed lender or the date of the loan.  One did tell me the name of the supposed lender as Cash Advance.  When I E-Mailed them they stated emphatically that they were not a lender but were a prequalifier who refers your request to lenders.  When I asked the caller for a copy of the loan do***ents, he E-Mailed a copy of a bogus "invoice".  I looked up the company at the Pennsylvania address and there is no such company listed.  The phone number was a San Diego preix and the fax number was a Jacksonville Beach, Florida prefix.  When I replied to the E-Mail stating the obvious errors in their do***ent, I did not hear from this group a***n.  I told him he needed to supply copies of the original loan do***ents and a copy of the Letter of****ignment from the Lender****igning the right to collect to his firm.  He could fulfill non of those requests.  One of these individuals supposedly capitulated by giving me the address of his company (somewhere in LA) but the letter from my attorney was returned as "no such address".  One individual posting on one of the scam websites stated that the caller ID number is a cover for a number that is actually a call center in India.  For any of you who may live in California, even though a payday lender is headquartered in another state and the loan was made over the internet, they must abide by California laws.  California law strictly prohibits criminal pursuit for default on payday loans.  In fact, it is illegal for them to even threaten to pursue criminal action.  I reported these calls to the FBI IC3 (Internet Crimes) unit, but htey seem to be overwhelmed by the number of these complaints.  I reported to the local police, but they felt there was nothing they could do because the perpetrator was out of state.  Problem is, we are becoming a worldwide marketing targets without any worldwide protections.

I receive a call from this number this man claimed to be Officer McClain he said that my SS# was under investigation.  Claim that I would be in serious trouble with the government.  He left my SS# on my voicemail they was a key give away that it was a prank. Im callin the police if you are reading this Officer McClain.

I jus received a call from this number where the person claimed to be Joe Williams in an Investigation Dept. The caller claimed to have my name and SS# and I was being investigated for some crimnal activity. He also claimed I would be in trouble with the government. The caller had a foriegn accent sounded like somewhere in the Middle East...What can be done about this caller?  He should be tracked and arrested...

Had the same as everybody else. The one thing is I have family that works in the federal goverment called them up and they told me too google it. Seen its a scam called my family back gave them the number and the info i found on google. hopefully so****ing gets done too these *****s.

WHY CAN'T THESE PEOPLE BE MADE TO STOP?  I fell for the scam and paid these Office Williams TOW WEEKS AGO AND PAID THIS $300.00 from my debit card, her also tried to get me to send western union to a Mike Smith, I should have checked out this telephone number first, but instead  I got scammed, he expecting to take more money from me,  I am tracking their steps and anything they take will get returned,  I am waiting for them to call me sometimes going along with them is the best way to stop them. For some reason they call my job about cash advances and what is so terrible is that they have my personal information.

this person called me with the same accusations as abovei got scared when i heard officer and lawsuit but i decided to google the numberand as you all have realized its a scam i hope these guys burn i called back and said i know what you're doing and it won't workhe said what is your name i told him the fbi is hot on ur a**

Received a call from this number this morning and they left a message saying that this is Office Bob Cooper from the so****ing investigation and that there will be a warrant out for my arrest. Scared the bejesus out of me. Thank god for this website because I was going to hire an attorney and we all know how expensive that is. 610-713-8130

I have been receiving these calls from AKA officer White AKA Anthony Williams I have filed police reports with my local P.D. and my attorney has even called him and told him to no longer contact me but he cussed my attorney and would not gave him any information to this debt. He went as far to tell my attorney he was an attorney and when my attorney said he was one he ***g-up on him it took my attorney 4 tries to talk with someone.. I owe nothing I have never had a payday loan and he will not give me any information when I requested it. Someone or so****ing needs to find him and take him down.

Called from phone #412 360 8433 and left this as a number to call back.  Said he had my Social Security #, address and had a fradulent case a***nst me.  Could barley understand him.  Who are these foreigners trying to collect money from people.

Same as all the other stories, except he said I was being taken to court by cash usa on a loan I got... never got a loan so I told that ****** Arabian guy that he would need to mail me some info on this cause I don't handle business over the phone and I would not be paying for so****ing I know nothing about... He said that they can not mail me anything then ***g up on me, so I called back and told them not to call my number a***n... I will be reporting this...

Caller has called him numerous times threatening to have him arrested for non-payment on a loan. Ryan does not have an outstanding debt. The caller went even further by calling Ryan's work company and threatening Ryan's boss. Lucky for Ryan, his boss figured this was a scam.

I got a call this morning since i have family in other states i decided to answer it it ways this guy with the weird indian he asked for me i told him he has the wrong number i then he keep talking i said " U HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER! he keep talking about a legal matter and this and that i ask what company it was he gave me a bunch of details after i had told him he had the wrong number then i comfirm this was a scam i have been in the collection bussines for years and know for a fact if a person is not home or u get the wrong number you are not allow to relase any information what so ever so i told him that he was talking to the wrong person he then as if i was married in a very nasty soft voice i ***g up on him. to all of those out there if any collection agency ever calls u you can request for them to put you in the DO NO CALL LIST and contact you stricly via mail if you make that request they have to do it or else the state will fine them for harrasment here in the state of florida the fine is $10,000.

these *****s called me and said, i owe money i told them to send me a bill and they kept talking over me , so i switched to my indian dialctand said, do you understand english? he said,would you like to see video of your wife *****ing another man? i said say what as****x?he said it a***n when my wife heard this she took the phone and cursed them out they called back 4 times sooo, im calling the fbi bbb  fdle and my congresswoman.

He also said I would be in "Big Trouble with the government" if I didn't call him back...WOW! I feel like I am 10 years old a***n and just got caught at a friends and not the li***ry.

Received a call from this clown this morning around 10:48 am stating that a lawsuit was being filed a***nst me for a payday loan that I had applied for which was deposited into my checking account and I had not  repayed it. I informed him that he was an idiot and thanks for the laugh, also to get a better scam

The person said that, i was being sued by somebody.. Then me and this person had a screaming match and I called him all types of names in the book. I called the number back and try to leave a message its said this person cant recieve meaages right know!!! I want this person to stop calling me or it will be some drama!!!

I received a call from this number,which showed "Philadelphia" as the caller name. The message was from a man with a heavy Indian accent. Said his name was Officer Bob Cooper from the Lawsuit Investigation Dept. A lawsuit had been filed a***nst me and my SS# was of interest to the US Government. He repeated my home address.  Also, that I was due to be arrested in a few hours.  I was to give him a call back asap if I wanted help regarding this matter. If I did not call back soon, the arrest would happen. We could not understand most of the message due to the accent. A little later, I did try calling the #, there was silence for a short time, then a busy signal.  My son said all this sounded odd, so he Googled the number & found all these other calls.

I RECEIVED A CALL FROM MY SISTER WHO RECEIVED A CALL FROM THESE PEOPLE. SHE CALLED ME BECAUSE I DO WORK FOR A LEGITAMTE COLLECTION COMPANY AND WE DO THINGS ON A PROFESSIONAL LEVEL. I INFOMRED THEM THAT I WAS GOING TO GET THERE INFORMATION AND I WOULD LOCATE THEM. I TOLD THEM I KNOW FOR A FACT I KNOW THEY ARE NOT IN THE UNITED STATES AND I KNOW FOR A FACT THEY ARE IN INDIA. A INDIVIDUAL FINALLY ADMITTED HE WAS IN FACT IN INDIA AND HE****URED ME NO MORE CALLS WOULD BE MADE TO MY SISTERS NUMBER NOR WOULD THEY ATTMEPT TO EXTORT MNIES FROM HER

Called me yes****ay while I was in church and said when I got out to call him back because there had been fraud reported using my SS # and unless I could talk to him and give him information to file an investigation. When I returned the call this morning, a man named Calvin answered. When I told him I was returning a call to Brian, he said one moment and then came back on and said he was confused about his name and he was really Brian. He tried to give me a case number for a lawsuit in my name but when I asked him what it was for he said it was for a payday loan I had taken out the day before CHristmas. Said that the FDIC had flagged my SS# and I would not be able to get any type of financial****istance for anything for the rest of my life. He then asked me to give him my SS# and date of birth. I refused and told him I had never taken out a payday loan in my life. He then told me I would be hearing from the "head" of the legal dept today.

called by the name of Joe Williams.  Last week he called and asked for $500 dollars for him.  Said he was a smuggler and if I did not give $500 he would **** me.  called from a different number then. today he asked for money and I said I would not give anything to him.  Said he was coming to my house.  another threat.

I was checking my messages cause I have gotten quite a few phone calls from out of area numbers and I got this message that said. Hi my name is Calvin Jackson from Legal Investagations and I have lawsuit that has been filed a***nst you and your social security number and if he did not hear back from someone on my side he would have to take legla actions and putme behind bars,so I decided to call the number back and it rang four times and there was nothing. So I decided to google this number and see what company it was and if it was real. And I find out that alot of people have had the same phone call. I am going to contact the legal officials on this and take matters into my own hands, this is so uncalled for. I don't deserve this kind of harras*****t and it is uncalled for.

I recieved a call from this number this morning, but i did not pick it up because I did not know the number. The man left me a message with an indian accent, and he told me that he needed me to call back with my social security number and that if i did not call back that he would block my security number and then put me behind bars. I called back and he asked for my social security number and my phone number. And then s****ed yelling at me. Typed his number into google. And then found out all this information.

THIS GUY DOES NOT HAVE CALLER ID. I TRY AND TIE UP HIS LINE AS MUCH AS POSSIABLE. IF EVERYONE WOULD JUST KEEP CALLING HIM BACK AND NOT EVEN SAY ANYTHING. IT WILL AND DOES DRIVE HIM CRAZY. HE IS ALMOST COMPELLED TO ANSWER ALL CALLS BECASUE HE NEVER KNOWS IF ONE OF HIS SCAMED PEOPLE ARE CALLING HIM BACK. YOU CAN ALSO TELL HIM "BRIAN KEYLEE SAYS HI YOU STUIPED  FOREIGN *******"

I received the exact same phone call at 8:40 this morning. I did not answer my phone due to not knowing the number, anyway he left a voicemail, practically shouting down the phone in his Indian accent telling me that I was going to be sued and my social security number was blocked and he worked for the United States investigations bureau. Once he'd continued his ridiculous rant he then told me that I was to call him back and referred to me as a gentleman and if not I would be in serious trouble and he would have to take action. What a tool. This guy needs to be stopped from doing this. I am so glad I typed this into google and found that it wasn't just me who received this bizarre message. Quit frankly I am completely feed up with my number and am always receiving GENUINE numbers but now actual scams like this. It really ****es me off when people have your number!

IVE HAD CALLS LIKE THIS FROM THE SAME GUY NAMED OFFICER NEILL JOHNSON HE WAS CALLING TWO MONTHS AGO FROM 412-360-8423 NOW HE HAS C****ED NUMBERS AND USED TO CALL HIMSELF OFFICER PETER DAVIS INVSOLUTIONS LAW INVESTIGATIONS IVE HAD A SCREAMING MATCH WITH HIM I HAVE FILED A PLOICE REPORT WITH AN OFFICER AND HAVE A CASE NUMBER HE KEEPS CALLING ME AND I DONT PICK UP HE HAS CALLED MY JOB AND I AM SICK TO ***** OF THIS!!!!!! IM REALLY TIRED OF THIS GUY HE IS A BIG SCAMMER AND I WANT THIS GUY CAUGHT HE HAS HARRASSED ME MORE THAN ONCE AND IM TIRED OF IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE HAS AN INDIAN ACCENT AND USES AMERICAN NAMES.

This Guy left me a message early this morning regarding the exact same story D. Russ, has posted. It's amazing all these people have recieved the same scams from the same guy within the last few days. If anyone recieves a call from this number (610-713-8130) then know it's not real. I'm already contacting the FTC regarding this issue.

If you get this guy calling you tell him you heard from Brian Keylee (thats not my name but it is the name he tried to use as the person he was trying to contact.) But anyway tell him "you heard from Brian Keylee and he said he wanted to f*** your a** give him a call". Then just keep calling him back with the same message. He will leave you alone after that. This man called me at 7:30 to advise I was being sued but he wouldn't disclose the company that is sueing me also adv of fdca laws.  I am going to report them to the Fair Debt Trade Commission for bad collection practices. Tp male adv me he was an officer of the court but never disclosed the name of the company.

This person with a very distinct indian accent, left a very threatening message claiming to be Officer Brian Foster with legal investigations filing a law suit and accusations of fraud and illegal activities****ociated with my social security number and address. Including threats of putting me behind bars, demanding a return call.  When returning the call it rang 4 times and disconnected.  A search on this phone number reveals it's from Upper Darby Pennsylvania.  An additional search shows thousands of scam complaints and instructions to contact the FTC, FCC, and Attorney General.

The past month I've recieved calls from a person named Officer Michael Smith from a Law Investigations. He told me that a suite was filed under my name for fraud. This man called and harrassed me on my cell and employees at my job non stop, tying up phone lines. The university that I work for, contacted the Police department and the FBI. This phone number is now being investegated. Please people beware of this scam.

just recieved a call this morning from this number, i was unable to anwser because I was in a meeting @work.  They left a message saying that his name was Officer Shack and that he was calling from Law and Investigations. He mentioned that a law suit was filed under my name for fraud and to call back ASAP. Couldn't get through to the number as it's an international call. Some kind of scam going on.

The call would not go through since it was an international call. I decided to google the number and here I am.....I am so glad I didn't answer the phone call and to find out that this was just a scam...I hope the FBI gets a hold of these criminals!!

This person called me earlier today telling me that a law suit has been filed in my name and a block has been put on my social security number..This is a obvious scam to get money.all you have to do is google the number for yourself and look at all of the reports about this number..
