Called my cell phone. I rejected the call, then added their number to my phone's "Rejected Callers List". I never answer calls from Area Codes I do not recognize. Do Not Call Registry is a joke, probably where they get our phone numbers.

Do NOT answer calls like this and especially do not call the number back, or press "one" to be placed on their "Do Not Call List". It is merely a thinly disguised effort to gain as much information about you and your smart phone. That it is spam or a scam is the least of your worries. Once these crooks have an entry point to your phone, such as through a bluetooth connection, they will haved a field day gaining all of your personal information. Download an app that will block calls like this and continue to report it to the FTC. Maybe they will finally be able to do something to stop these eggregious calls.
