Calls and ****s up couple times in a day for the last 2 weeks

These m**** *****s have called my cell four times in the last two days. No message is ever left. I picked up once but there was no one there and then it just ***g up. I don't understand how stuff like this can just go on and on--with no recourse whatsoever for those of us that get hassled. If it's some nefarious debt collector, I don't owe anyone anything. I'm on the Do Not Call list, but that program is obviously an utter failure.

It's a debt collecting agency, calling about a some debt I don't owe.  They had my name and SS#.  They set you up by cofirming your name with the last for digits of your SS# to put you through to a long distance call.  The only reason I answered was I thought I was getting a call from a hospital on the east coast about my ***her.

Received a phone call from this number. The caller did not leave any message.
