This # 6121-852-0021 s****ed calling this weekend, Sat at 8:10am still calling Sun 7:15pm. So far 22 calls. Never leave a msg. or answer the few times I have picked up. KNOCK IT OFF!!!
This is Target credit, either trying to collect a debt or sell you more credit.
This number has called me 4 times a day. Does not leave a message. I do not have a target card.
If these guys are calling before 8am or after 9pm, they are in defiance of the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Protection Act), and should be notified as such. There are also limitations as to how many times they are allowed to call a specific number throughout the day, but that varies by state. Unfortunately, I worked for a collections agency, which is how I ***ned this knowledge. RE: Do Not Call lists. Because these calls are not technically solicitations, the only way to have your phone number removed from their files is to politely explain that you don't know the person they are trying to contact, or don't have any way to get in touch with them. Honestly, being rude to a collector usually tells them that they've gotten in touch with who they're looking for. ****ing up on them tells them that the 'debtor' (in this case, mistakenly as it may be, YOU) do not want to deal with the matter in a cooperative way, which makes them want to call even more.RE: If you've already squared up your account and continue to receive calls. If you have the proper do***entation, whether it be an official letter from the Agency/Company that signifies your balance as ZERO, notify them of this, get their fax information and send it along. Unfortunately mistakes do happen, files are incorrectly do***ented, etc., which in many cases causes the Agency to continue to try and collect on a debt that doesn't exist.PLEASE remember that these are people too. They're trying to do a job in a very compe***ive industry where the only things that matter are numbers. If you are not the person they're trying to reach, or have no means to contact that person, be calm. Be polite. Be respectful. The problem will be solved.Hope this helps!
They called on a Sunday morning! We've had another MN number make a call like this. I notice that others ID'd this number as belonging to Target -- I have a Target card, and this isn't the number they use.
They called my cell twice. The first time I answered and they just ***g up. The second time I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. I called the number back. It is Target National Bank (I had never heard of them and don't have any kind of Target card). They checked my cell number and said they were looking for someone with a name I didn't even understand. I told them there was no such person at my number. They said it must be a mistake and that they would take my number off their list.
who is calling me? no information on phone ma****e??
I just got a call from this number and will I called it back it was automated and asked for my social or target credit card so I kept hitting zero till I got sent to a person, they asked if I was courtney so****ing, I said no and ****** me answered their question as to is this a private or a business, I was like it's my cell and I am not cortney and I don't know one. they said she must have given them the wrong number and said my would be removed. sad all the scammers this time of year.
target=two days late on bill, called me 5 times while at work
I got a call from this number. My cell phone is on the do not call list. I'm hoping they DON'T call back, but if they do, I'll tell them they have one chance, and once chance only to remove it.
this # calls all day and when i answered and advised the personthey wanted was not home- they ***g up on me!
calls but no message I am the do not call list for my home and my cell phone
I just decided to see who it was and called their number. It is a company called Brundage **** Concrete Pumping and of course they didn't answer their phone. I just got a recording.
I am on the Do Not Call Registry and yet someone from this number calls me several times a week. Obviously they're not legitimate or they'd leave a message.
I don't have a Target account. I don't remember the last time I've been to a Target. I'm pretty sure they have no reason to have called me 7 times in the past 3 days. They asked for "Amanda" the two times I bothered to answer. I don't even know anyone named Amanda.
Its target calling for past due bill
It's Target. Forgot to pay the bill...
