Call came in from Ontario, (613) area code.  Recording says This is "Cardmember Services"  calling about lowering your interest rates, press 6 to speak to the representative.  I pressed 6 got a gal named "Teri" fast talker, offering lower rates for any credit cards with a qualifying balance over 4K and an interest rate over 10%.  Told me she was calling from Texas!  Then wants last 4 didgets of social....NO...well just give me the account # and I'll look up to see if you qualify!  Told her I'd have to look it up and she should call me back.  I think it is a scam! Let's see if she calls back!

Illegal prerecorded call asked me to dial 6 if I wanted to lower my interest rates. After I pressed 6, I was connected with a real person that was screening people by asking a series of questions. They asked my credit card number. I said I need the name of their company first, so they ***g up. I am on the Do Not Call list and filed a complain with the FTC.

I am on "Do not call" list, yet this pre-recorded message was left.  Message said to press "6" now if I want lower credit card interest rates.  Did not do so.

I played along, but they ***g up after I said I was under 70 years old.  Now they are only targeting older people.  This has to stop...

continue to recive calls from this no. i answer, no one there. would like to stop these calls. i am on the no call list yet they call anyway. please help put a stop to these calls. thank you. i don't have caller id and they don't say anything to me.

It's a scam.  Shows 613-216-2172 "Ontario" on caller ID.  They are tryomng to get your credit card information.  File an online complaint with the FTC here:http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm

Calls all the time, when I answer no one is there. Also calls when baby is sleeping..

A long-winded recorded message.  I left the phone on the desk while I worked.  After about 10 mins. I picked it up they were just winding down, asking if I would write my congressman, etc. about health care.  Seemed to be AARP or AARP affiliated.

that number calls my house 2-4 times everyday and no one says anything or is ever there...tried to call back, but says the mailbox is full.

I won't answer if the Caller ID reads "Unavailable," and I don't recognize the area code.  No message left.

I picked up the phone and male voice said "Attention all visa and master card.."  I immediately ***g up.

Must be a scam under the guise of mortgage refinancing.  When I asked for company name the guy **** up on me.  When I called the number back it had a message "I am a big **** and I leave erroneous telephone calls with no messages"

File a complaint with the FCC Online here:  http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm  These people should be shut down because they use automated ma****es and do not allow you to tell them to stop.  Their mailbox is "full."

Have received numerous calls also.  I called back from my home phone and got a message that the number was disconnected.  Called from my cell and work phones and got a message "I'm a big **** and I leave erroneous telephone calls with no messages".  He is a big **** and he does make erroneous telephone calls with no messages.

Have received numerous calls from this number.  Last week my wife told themto stop calling us as we were not interested.  We then received two phonecalls at 4:20 and 4:20 a.m. on Sa****ay, March 21st with them replaying mywife telling them not to call us.  This number needs to be investigated andshut down by the Ca***ian Government.

Received this call 2 days in a row.  Yes****ay i pressed one to talk to somebody, told them I'm on the Do Not Call list and they promptly ***g-up.Today, i pressed one a***n, when I inquired as to their company name they promptly ***g up a***n.Very dishonest to say the least.  Not sure what action I can take with no information.

I have received over 50 calls from this number ...all dead silence when I pick up the phone. Appreciate any help how to get this to stop.

We have received mult. calls from phone #613-216-2172. When my husband picks up there is dead silence on the other end. We are listed on the do not call list. This is becoming very annoying. Who ever is doing this...oviously has too much time on their hands.  If they would only redirect this negitive energy to positive energy.... this crazy world we live in would be a much better one!

When the phone rang, at 7:45 PM EDT today, I got a recorded message telling me about President Obama's mortgage****istance plan, and telling me if I wanted and was eligible for Federal****istance, press "1"The woman who answered the phone had a faint Indian (or similar) accent.  She immediately s****ed into her copy on "would you like to save money on your mortgage?"  When I asked why the US Federal Government would be using a phone number in Ontario CA, she said "I get that a lot.  Why do you say that?  I am in Sunny Southern California!"  I told her that Caller ID had given her away.I then asked which agency she represented.  She said it was "National Mortgage" but was not affiliated with the US Government.  I asked "so this is a private firm?"  "Yes, sir, it is."  I then informed her I am on the National Do Not Call list and did not want to be... well, called a***n, but at that point, she said "Have a nice day sir" and ***g up on *****ey call a***n, I will try to get an address.  Then my lawyer will be talking to them.  He's good.  And a violation of the DNC is a fine of up to $1000 per call, I do believe...

was just called. no message was left. they called at 7:00pm during dinner. we are ate the "No Soliciatation Calls" list so I'm not sure why this happened.

I got a call from this number.  first there was a recorded message saying that President Obama wants us to re-negotiate our mortgage then had options to press.  I pressed one and a ******* the line asked me if I was interested--I told her I had no idea who she was and she ***g up.  I'm worried that this is a scam and others might be pulled into it.

613-216-2172 claims to be Friendly Financial in Newport Beach, CA. Call comes with illegal pre-recorded message about mortgage refinancing. Refuses to give info unless you "pre-qualify". ****s up when asked to receive a copy of their Do Not Call policy as required by law.

didn't answer when i picked up.  afterwards,  i accidentally pressed to the number to call back.  turns out, they're some sort of loan modification co.

called my unpublished number! No message. Have no idea who this is.

Have no idea who this is.  They leave no messages.  Calls at different times of the day.  Would like for them to stop.  We do not answer, but the phone ringing with unwanted calls is annoying.
