This is military number :) It may be some of your friends calling you and it shows you "general" number, but you need to know prober number to call back
Troops deployed overseas call and this number appears simply because it is centralized call center
It is the m****e phone from troops deployed anywhere in the world its a centralized call system that only makes outgoing calls so the 555-0000 is to prevent incoming calls.. I believe the call system in in ottawa and is administered by global connect.
Our office is locted in Calgary, Ab., and we rec'd a call from this nmb however the individual claimed he was with the CAF in Afghanistan. Can anyone verify this? Of course when the nmb is dialed the recording comes on "cannot be completed as dialed". Is it not common knowledge that the prefix "555" doesn't exist. Who knows maybe it is the military...
