I called and after yelling for a while they gave me a different 1-800 number other than the one above. In the end, all I got was an answering ma****e service where I left a nasy message! The new number they gave me to call is 1-800-660-1989

I called Phone Busters this morning (888-495-8501).  We really need to be a big number of people calling them about this problem to put pressure high anough.  They address tons of issues like that.  The highest priority goes on the problem reported by the highest number of people.It is a computer that is calling and plays the recorded message (Mon nom est Denis St-Jacques bla bla bla...)when your answering ma****e is ready to get the message.If you are present at home and you answer, the computer will simply **** up.Call Phone Busters to report the problem!

Je recois aussi ce message 1 fois par semaine environ sur mon répondeur.  J'ai téléphoné la GRC et ils m'ont dit de téléphoner Phone Busters au 888-495-8501 pour porter plainte.J'imagine que plus on est nombreux à porter plainte, plus la pression sera forte pour 'Buster' ce connard délinquant.

I am receiving calls from this ******* Denis St-Jacques every week.How do I get him to stop calling ???

Depuis quelques mois j'ai reçu de nombreux messages pré-enregistrés de monsieur Denis St-Jacques d'un Centre d'aide pour le financement des pe***es entreprises localisé à Ottawa offrant des programmes de subvention peu connues. Ces messages se retrouvent toujours sur notre répondeur et ce même le dimanche.

Je reçois aussi des appels de Denis St-Jacques, et j'aimerais bien avoir sont numéro à la maison pour lui téléphoner aussi. J'ai téléphoné le Centre de Financement Commercial pour faire retirer mon no de téléphone de leur liste sans aucun résultat. This guy should be ****, no matter how honest his company may be. All forms of telemarketing should be banned. I've never seen a car dealer drive a car into my house during dinner and then try to sell it to me, so why should this motherf**** or any other telemarketer get the right to barge into my home uninvited? These guys are worse than vampires: at least vampires have to be invited in before they'll **** your blood.

I'm from Quebec and received this call many times. I really hate those calls, no 1-800 number, keeps harassing people by calling over and over a***n. I hope some people have the courage to sue them!Still, you can use "VoipBuster" to call the number for free from my PC. You don't even need a microphone as the phone number removal is done using the dialpad. Hope that helps!

I received phone message about company funding on provincial and federal levels.  The number they left to call back was 613-963-0473.  However, the phone call came in from 647-722-3188.  The comments on 613-963-0473 were all positive.The comments on 647-722-3188 were all dead air.I haven't called either but wanted to post this info for others.

Their calls have been coming for months now. You would think that if I have not returned their call after their third try then stop. After that it becomes harassment. I know they want to catch a real live person and then try their speal on you but if they've left their number then quit. They should show some common sense. I'll call the 800 number that 'cranky' gave.

Quite annoying to received phone calls from that business consultant.  I wonder if he calls every name in the REGISTRE DES ENTREPRISES of Quebec.The caller ID is always different but the message is always the same.  I thought that when a phone number is listed as "DO NOT CALL" with the Ca***ian Marketing****ociation, we were deleted from the telemarketing joints, apparently, not

Je recois des appels enregistré de la part de Denis St-Jacques sur mon repondeur a toutes les semaines depuis presque un ans.  A toute les fois je rappel afin de me faire enlever du do not call list.  Aucun superviseur ne peux jamais prendre l'appel et on me donne a chaque fois un numero different afin de laisser un message.  l'adresse de toronto est :  458 Richmond West, toronto, Ont, M5V1y1.  Au Québec cette compagnie engage un centre indépendant afin de repondre au telephone en francais: Agence Linton, service de réponse, que vous pouvez contacter au 514-631-0000 et aussi ecrire (suggere de lettre enregistre) au 795 Carson, Dorval, H9s 1L7.  Demander Lise.

i also got the message. With the same number, but in the caller id there was another number with sender unknown.***-715-3900 Who are they ? why do they call us? Same denis st jaques. Weird, weird.

J'ai du recevoir cet appel au moins 4 fois au cours des 6 dermiers mois. Je veux bien accepter que le fédéral ait des subventions de trop à distribuer mais ne sont pas foutus d'avoir un # 800 pour leur demander d'arrêter d'eplir mon répondeur. Et pourquoi paierait-je interurbain pour leur demander ca? Anyway, si j'avais besoin d'une subvention, j'aurais déjà appelé alors ce M St-Jacques pourrait viser ailleurs après 4 ou 5 tentatives.  Mon voyage... Je cherche maintenant un courriel pour écrire de me foutre la paix.Got this call like 4 times in last 6 months.  OK Federal has money to throw away but can't afford an 800 number so I can ask them to quit filling my answering ma****e. And why should I pay long distance for this? Anyway, if I needed money, I'd called them already so Mr St-Jacques could target somewhere else after 4 to 5 tries.  Fed Up...  Now looking for an eMail adress to request they stop annoying me.

If the above 613-963-0743 and/or ***-715-3900 calls just call 1-800-663-8525. You can talk to a "person" at this number and tell them that you don't appreciate these calls at all hours of the day, several times a day, etc...! The funniest thing is that when I called the person sounded soooo surprised, I guess they think that if they badger you enough you must might after all decide to open up this small business, just because they say there's loans and/or grant available! I wonder if they have any link to the Ontario gov't it would be worth a inquiry!  What is ridiculous is the fact that this # calls (like in above comment) and it doesn't even give you the option to get out of their system! I had to call the 613 area code 3x to be able to finally get "removed", kept on getting cut off by the automated system. So I had to endure long distance fees to get removed...so much for privacy laws in Ca***a! The doctor's office won't leave results with  my husband, yet these door ****s calls you at free will and there's no way of getting rid of them!

I have recieved these calls as everyone else has mentioned. My concern was that they represent themselves as a government run and financed operation, which they are not and they could not wait to get my credit card number so I truly believe they are a scam.

Calling from Ottawa, offering Quebec residents information on loans and grants for s****ing or operating a small business. Pre-recorded message without a local or 1-800 number to be removed. Has called multiple times.  Gave 613-963-0473 as contact number, though caller ID was 140-855-5534.

Moi aussi,j'ai recu un drole de message sur mon répondeur d'un monsieur Denis St-Jacques.Il parle d'un centre d'aide aux entrprises,concernant des programmes de subventions non connus par le féderal et provincial.En plus il précise que c'est a Ottawa.Pourtant il c'est qu'il communique avec le Québec et ne donne pas de numéro 1-800.Alors c'est tres louche.C'est surement un anarqueur.

This caller leaves a message on my answering ma****e several times per week.  The message is a little hard to understand but this is what I can make-out:"Hello. I am ---- McDonald (somewhat garbled) from the Business Funding Centre..."It goes on to say that small business funding is available from the Federal and Ontario governments and then it gives the phone number  suggesting they will help me secure money for a small business venture.This has become a nuisance call.  They have been calling my number for an extended period of time (weeks or months).  I do not want to call the number and compromise my privacy any further.I would like these calls stopped.

J'ai mon voyage de recevoir constamment des messages en provenance de ce numéro de téléphone. Le monsieur en question mentionne que l'appel est dans le but de recevoir une subvention afin de démarrer une entreprise ou de recevoir de l'aide pour celle que nous avons déjà.

Note that to remove yourself from their list, you must do it from a phone line that doesn't block caller ID, which my VoIP line does automatically. You can call with another phone line and enter the phone number to block. YOU MUST CONFIRM THE PHONE NUMBER YOU ENTERRED.
