Asked for my wife but wouldn't talk to me. Wanted my name and SSN to "verify" who I was. At that point the conversation ended. I talked to my wife and she told me that she had just opened a new credit card with Ann Taylor Loft in order to save 20% (%#%#!!!) on a purchase and she was concerned that she hadn't received a bill. She called the customer service and confirmed that Ann Taylor loft was using WFNNB as their credit card servicing company. The agent looked up the account number and said that there was a late fee of $10 on a past due bill and that they had the wrong mailing address. He said that he would remove the late fee and a bill would be sent during the next billing cycle. While this sounds good I have zero confidence that this will be resolved that easily. In this economy the easy money is gone and everyone, especially financial ins***utions are looking to get money by hook or crook. By the time anyone reads this they will have already been scammed. Prevent future occurances by not opening new credit cards! The $10 you save could cost 10 times as much in the long run.
