They are beginning to cross the line ever more so. I just received this new phone number and they call at all hours, sometimes s****ing at 7 am until later like 10 pm. They refuse to give any information and ask harassing questions. Then they threaten with jail etc for not paying a bill.I keep trying to get the number blocked, but no luck.

Caller ID states: Info Depot at 614-246-9462. I have an unlisted number. Never leave message. When called back, a woman named Amy answered and would only state they are CBE company and that CBE doesn't stand for anything. Was not willing to tell what the company did, where they were located, etc. Sounded very su****ious to me.

I forgot to add in my previous post that when you call back the number they want you to give them your social security number. Do Not Give them Any personal information. They would no come clean about who they were or what they were doing.

Calls s****ed coming in since early May 2010. I typically don't answer cell phone calls coming from numbers I don't recognize, especially out-of-state numbers. But since it kept calling,I once called back and noone answered. Right after that, I got call from "unknown" though. Then the other day, about couple weeks ago I got call 8am and answered call while still half-asleep, it was them! (614-246-9462) The woman asked if it was "C---(my name)" I said, "yes", then she immediately asked for my birthday and I got su****ious and asked "who are you?" and she won't answer. I told her I can't give info on phone unless she identify herself and then she says "I can't tell you but this is a federal matter". I told her she better give me her name and company name, because I'll report them to FBI as government imposter. She refused to answer but turned phone to her "supervisor" who a***n, asked if I was "C---(my name)". This time I said "no" then asked what this is about. He said he can't disclose what the call's about unless I'm C---, at which point I knew this is probably some bill collector. I said you guys are in real trouble using government name illegally and I will complain to FTC and FBI, and your harassing/fraudulant way of conducting business. I asked for their address. He said he can't give me out that information (why??). He kept asking if I was C---, I refused to answer and asked a***n for address but he ***G UP on me. Still getting calls from them though..SO HARASSING I'm ready to really take it up with FTC >:D

oh yeah, forgot to mention this... CBE sounds familiar, and I remembered about 5 years ago, I got call at my friend's I was living with at that time (didn't have own phone and may have used her phone as reference on so****ing before). My friend is the one who answered the call while I was out. She told me my friend from high school named "N---"(didn't recognize name) was looking for me and left her number with her to call back. I didn't think much and called the number back and asked for "N---, this is C---" and she said "oh yes, you owe $--- with so-and-so company(a very VERY OLD debt, 10yrs?) how do you want to make an arrangement to pay..." I told her how the***** she got that number, it's not even my number and I'll report her for fraudulent tactics to obtain info thru 3rd party, etc etc. and she just said "so you REFUSE to take our offer for payment arrangements" and ***g up. Never got call a***n, but looked number up and I believe they were CBE... So same company, using same fraudulent tactics trying to collect on ancients debts which they probably buy cheap from other collection agency clearinghouse, I****ume...

called and said they are looking for Valerie. I told him it's the wrong number,but I still receive their call 2 or 3 times a day.
