they repeatedly call. it is discover, tried to call them to tell them this is a new number.. and i dont have a discover. they wanted my ssn. i said, no.. i dont have an account with you. then they put me on hold for 30 minutes. every once in awhile, they would come online... then put me back on hold. i don't know how to get them to stop, but 12-15 times a day is a bit much.

Yeah.  This number keeps calling me too claiming they are from Discover.  My account balance is ZERO and I called my Discover credit company.  IT'S ANNOYING AS*****!!!

They call my cell number five times a day. My cell number is not even****ociated with my husbands credit card. They want me to sign up for auto pay and they will credit my account $25.00. We just cancelled his card due to fraudulent charges 2 weeks ago and now are getting calls constantly. Seems shady to me too!!

missed call and called this number back. after discussing acct info, rep said he would take $25 dollars off if made payment over the phone. said no,  but thought that was very shady. anyone else have a similar experience?

This is Discover calling.  They almost never leave a message and they call from 8 in the morning to 9 at night.  If you pick up but do not speak then they **** up on you.  They call on average 6 to 8 times a day.  Very annoying.

Picked a name from my website and called me on my cell.  Where do they get these drop-outs?

They say they are from Discover, but when we called Discover to check on our account, Discover said they never called us and that this is not their phone number.  Just be aware. They also called both of our cell phone numbers and we never gave these numbers to Discover.

Called my mother addressing her by her first name and that they were trying to find me. They did not identify themself and sounded very sad and desperate like they were in some kind of trouble. Deceptive tactics. Traced number to Discover Card here.

Discovercard collections

I have been receiving calls from this number all hours of the day 7 days a week. There is ***ody on the other end of the phone.

Received 3 calls from 614 283-1952. I answered twice and told them that the person they are calling for is not at my number. I was told that I will not receive another call from them.

called once today, no message left. I am now worried that they will call all day long. I do have a DSC acct but I am not late

These people are trying to say that my fiance has a business account with them and was very hateful. I'm not sure who they are or anything but like I said....they are very hateful.

Call several times a day. Even during the evening hours and on Sundays! Call is coming from Ohio and I have been left a message saying they are from Discover Card and please return their call. I own a card and carry a balance but am not delinquent on any payments. All the collectors trying to get more money in this bad economy maybe???

CID says "Discover". Over 6 calls every day, 7 days a week, all times night and day. My number is on federal no-call list. I have never had any business with or relation to any person or company named Discover. No message & no one ever at other end of line.

The caller wanted to talk to someone who does not live here.  The caller did not give out any information.  Please be aware.

I wasn't home to answer call - came on Thursday 11/6 at 10:53a - but I called back because my husband had a Discover card years ago that was closed, and I wanted to make sure there wasn't a problem.  The rep was very nice and said he would remove our number from their calling list; he said our number was listed as contact for a "Phillip Shepherd".

Called a couple of times, then is silent on the other end.

Answer...then the line ****s up after telling you to please hold for an important message.

I do not own a Discovery card and DON`T WANT ONE. They have my phone number from somewhere and the man is VERY rude but I can get RUDER. At least 10-12 calls a month

They call me 24/7. every hour, but I dont answer #'s I dont know. It is an interruption at work, school, and my day as a whole! I know it is not important because they would have left me a voice mail to explain why they are calling.
