this number has called me every morning between 8 and 8:15 every weekday for the last few weeks. i pick up and noone is there. I try to call it back and i get a cannot be reached message.

Well, it's been a while since this thread s****ed, but i guess i'll add my two cents anyway.i've been getting multiple calls a day from this number for about a week now.  it's always a pre-recorded message from "allied interstate."  by doing a google search on them, i found out that they're a debt collection agency, infamous for harassment, illegal (or at least legally-grey) tactics and questionable claims.  similarly, i had never heard of this company before and have no outstanding debts.  furthermore, the automated message gives you no information about the nature of the call; they just ask you to call back.  if you're continuing to receive calls from this number, i would recommend checking out these sites:http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre18.shtmhttp://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/forums/about2486.htmland, if need be, make sure you make a written request for written debt validation before giving this company any personal information.hope this helps.

I wonder if only pre paid cells receive these calls

I also get calles once a day with no message left. If it is really that important they will leave a message. My husband answered once, and they asked for me by my first name only.No last name so I doubt that it is a telemarketer.

who is this

s****ed receiving numerous calls from this number. they never leave a message. it is very annoying!!!
