Leave a CommentI have been getting these calls too, no one there when I answer. I just called the number back, it stated, you have been contacted by Dow Jones, if you wish to speak to a representative, press one, so I did. Then it says, "thank you good bye" Very odd.
I am on a do not call list but still get repeated calls from this number. This has been explained to the woman doing the calling to no avail. They just keep calling. Had one call 12-14-09 and 2 more this am.
They just called, and the lady asked to speak to my wife. I told her my wife wasn't in and asked if I could take a message. "No, I am in and out and won't be able to take a return call. What is a good time to call back?" I told the caller I was my wife's husband, could she talk to me. She said "I already have" and ***g up.Very annoying.
After weeks of ****ups, finally got someone to pick up the call. It was from The Wall St. Journal about our subscription.
They left a message, and it was of the person just typ-typ-typing away! ! a little kid was in the back ground!? Very strange!

Called at 11:20 am EST to company number. Young female asked for the company president by name. Said she was calling from Dow Jones. [Sounded su****ious.] Asked her name: Heather Lippencott. Asked for her number (which appeared on the caller ID-wanted to know if she'd tell the truth). Said she didn't have a direct number and would call back. [Clunk.]
